This is close to the main town, maybe 5 minutes ride but then it feels like a resort away. Sure there is work being done as it is older but the traditional buildings are magnificent and I hope they are brought back to their former glory The bungalows are cute and around the beachfront pool, which is a really nice pool. The staff were exceptional, even the garden maintenance lads would run to help put pool umbrellas up etc. The price is good, we would 100% recommend and return, we loved it. It's a very large resort, a lot of upkeep which is being done, a huge job and I would love to see it fully renovated to its original state.

It's absolutely the best hotel we stayed in Thailand! The staff is very nice, the room wasn't the biggest one but the hotel itself, the swimming pool, the view, the peace, the nature... All that makes everything else doesn't matter.

The toilets are something that you don't expect when you see the hotel from the outside. The shower and the toilet are side by side and you end wet all the toilet as it doesn't have a wall or a curtain to separate them. But as I said before, everything else is so amazing that the toilet is just a detail.

Fantastic location and brilliant value for money. Staff lovely and attentive. Pool area one of the best in the area. Beds very comfortable and bungalow very clean. View fantastic and food was great. A fairly quiet location only 5 minutes walk to the local 7/11 and a further 10 minutes into the centre of town. Walked to and from most nights and was fine - stayed for 10 nights. For exploring further a field, taxis often pass the resort so not long waiting around to catch one (maybe 5 mins). Reception and manager great, always on hand to help. You can also speak to the manager here about hiring a scooter if you want. Although taxis are simple and safer. Located just outside the centre so you can escape the noise.

Splendid Location, quiet area, you will swim in the pool and having the breakfast in front of the sea. Room are classic Thai style, spacious, and clean. This is the perfect place to rest and enjoy the island (you can rent a motorbike at the hotel and you are good to go pretty everywhere). The best part of our staying actually was the staff: really kind, professional and keen to help all the guests. The hotel manager is golden. The location is excellent - next to a beautiful quiet beach- walking distance to DMT Muay Thai camp, 7-11 and Pantip Food Market. The pool is great and never that busy. The rooms are large and well appointed. Breakfast is excellent and the staff and manager are very helpful and super friendly! We will return for sure!!

I loved the ambience here, the old Thai architecture, a real place of Thai character. The bungalow was just by the beach swimming pool and the beach, a beautiful place to lay in my hammock and watch the sunset. The bed was very comfortable, the room was beautiful and had a great fridge (they gave bottles of water and fruit every day). Easy to get into town for great shopping and restaurants. The owner booked the taxi for the full moon party and the taxi was very reliable there and back. I loved the Aqua keep fit class in the large pool (3 times a week, 400 bt) and I was just a beginner but Tammy the instructor was fantastic.

Great location next to the sea with two pools. We enjoyed the restaurant with view on the sea. There were kayaks available for rent in the hotel.

There was no hot water in the bathroom, no pool towels, and the bed seemed old and was uncomfortable.

Really polite and helpful staff. A beautiful place in a temple-like garden. Great pool and a large area. Cheap taxi available to fullmoon party and back. Also can get a ride to the pier and if you wish to rent a bike, they arrange it to come straight to you.

The bed mattress had a pretty moldy smell for some reason.

The location, sea, pool, restaurant and staff were all brilliant. I enjoyed my stay here and I am sure that I will stay here again next year. A motorbike was arranged for me as soon as I arrived and everything was carried out in an instant when requested. The manager was brilliant and an asset to the resort.

The TV channels are Thai only so take a tablet or Firestick.
