The restaurant/bar/lounge area! A great variety of people staying there from families with small children, backpackers in their early twenties, data nomads working remotely to elderly. Great ambiance and very friendly and helpful personnel!

The traffic on the road adjacent to the hotel property. Though after a day I got more or less used to it. During evenings and night time there is very little traffic. I was never disturbed during nights.

Great resort, Great staff, and the location is ideal. I would definitely come back here again. We were initially in a double room near the pool table. We could hear the balls drop from our bed as people played into the night. Within 10 minutes the owner has moved us to a deluxe sweet on the far side of the resort where it was absolutely silent. The room was amazing and the coffee and breakfast choice in the morning was spot on. Laundry is the same price as everywhere else and it's all done in house. The staff made our stay pleasant and hassle free. Thank you.

location is perfect, flat road, on the Hin kong Beach, 1 min from restaurants,7 eleven, fitness club. beds are confirmable and soft which is rarely in Koh Phangan, the staff is super helpfull and nice, the water preasure in the shower is very good and the pool and sitting area is great. Super value for money.

Friendly resort. I met a lot if people here. Ford and his family are down to earth. Warm and helpful people. I would have given a higher rating but the restaurant was not open during my stay. When the restaurant opens and the building work is completed the Ford Resort will be even better. Ideally situated between Srithanu and Thong Sala you are within a short drive of either Zen Heaven or Nightlife. Ideal for Solo travellers looking to make friends or Digital Nomads looking to use the large working spaces at the fron of the resort. I ended up staying much,, much longer than 4 days. Despite the heavy building work that was going on during my stay I will definitely be returning to Ford Resort for my next stay. The friendly atmosphere, cleanliness of the rooms, door to door laundry service, swimming pool, spectacular sunsets and price are all great.. I will be looking forward to eating at the restaurant and enjoying sunset!

- The rooms by the pool are in need of renovation as they are very old and tired. All of the fixtures on the walls are loose and ready to fall off. It was also very damp. The owner/manager said they plan to do this

The Pool! & It's Not Chlorinated and Big 💓 (saltwater?). The Wifi was good in my Cabin. The Cabin I stayed in matched description. It's Clean yet a bit dated but no big deal at that price Very Friendly & helpful Staff. The View of the Ocean across the Road from Hotel is Stunning! The Mattress is Pillow Topped for those that Like that. I recommend and would stay again. Probably in a room with the Balcony's

Wow ! My family and I had an absolutely amazing time at The Ford Resort in Thailand. The staff were beyond helpful and always went above and beyond to ensure that we had an unforgettable experience. From the moment we arrived, we were blown away by the hospitality and warmth of the team. While the room was a bit dated, we still found it comfortable and it didn't detract from our overall experience. Some people may have different preferences when it comes to room decor, but for us, it was just a minor detail in an otherwise perfect stay. The pool at the resort is absolutely incredible and was a highlight of our trip. It's the perfect place to relax and soak up the sun while enjoying the stunning surroundings. And the breakfast was simply out of this world! We looked forward to it every morning and were never disappointed. Overall, we cannot recommend The Ford Resort enough. We had such a fantastic time that we would go back in a heartbeat. Thank you to the wonderful team at The Ford for making our vacation so special! If you're looking for a truly exceptional experience, look no further than The Ford Resort. Five stars all around!

We had a wonderful 1.5 month stay at the friendly, family-run Ford resort. Our room was very spacious and comfortable, equipped with a bar fridge, coffee making facility and flat screen tv with internet access. The delux rooms have the most comfortable mattresses - best mattresses in Thailand! Our room was cleaned regularly, with the sheets and towels changed every time.The large pool was well maintained and crystal clear. A big plus is the free pool table where many enjoyable evenings were spent playing pool with the owners Ford and Pappa! The resort has a very good restaurant serving a variety of great dishes. From the restaurant, we watched beautiful sunsets whilst sipping on cocktails. The owners and all the staff are very friendly and helpful and nothing is too much trouble. We felt like it was a home away from home. Our thanks to Ford and his family and staff for making us feel so welcome which made our stay so enjoyable. At the Ford Resort you arrive as a guest and leave as family! We will be sure to stay at The Ford Resort when next we visit Thailand.

The room was spacious and clean with a large double bed and a big toilet/shower room. Great pool and a restaurant on site with lots of options at good pricing. The staff were lovely and quick to help with everything we needed.

Our front door was broken and we could spend up to 5 minutes trying to close and lock it to go out. The staff did come to help with it, which was great, but still a bit annoying when trying to get out for the day.

The Ford was great!! Amazing pool, rooms were spacious, clean and a quick walk to Hin Kong beach. The beach is not really for swimming, but the Sunsets are amazing!! The area is nice and peaceful with loads of restaurants/bars/entertainment options.
