Practical, modern design of room, shower, beds, inkl. foldout bed. Relatively quiet location. Spotless clean and new. Proximity to Cognac and a few castles around the area (by car /bike) is great. Great stopover hotel when passing through Atlantic route. Plenty of breakfast options! Avoid queues by eating early. Very nice and friendly staff. Always attentive.

Would have liked to use the pool, but this facility was reserved for Ibis Style customers. Obviously the price tag of Ibis Budget is different so nothing to complain.

parking is safe and spacious. Location is great... a few restaurants and grocery/bakery next to the property. Easy to get back to the main road to continue travel.

Aircon not really working properly. It was warm at night. Opening the window for cooler air meant letting mosquitoes in (and there are still around in this period).

We were allocated a room that had bunk beds above the double and for an elderly couple who have to make frequent visits to the bathroom was not ideal as we hit our heads and stubbed toes on the ladder. Would certainly make a lot more sense to check the clientele before allocations

Apart from the above the hotel and it’s staff were great

No thrills but clean and modern and does what it sets out to do very well. Easy access from main roads. parking.

Checkin confusion - paid online via booking.com but when arrived auto check in tried to charge again. the only way around this seemed to be to cancel the booking.com booking and then rebook with “pay at property”. unfortunately the price had gone up by 10% by this point. not a deal breaker but may be worth not using pay now option on bookin.com

Easy to find, free parking and comfortable enough for the price.

The automated check-in process doesn't show the room and code for long enough to take a phone out and take the necessary photo, necessitating a call to reception in the other part of the building. The vending machine took my money but didn't work, requiring another call and not entirely satisfactory solution.

It's a brand new hotel, and its facilities are well-maintained. Very clean, and every element, from the bedding to the bathroom, is new and a pleasure to use.

The room is a bit small despite being complete. The same goes for the bathroom. Everything is new and extremely clean, but the space remains on the smaller side.

Small but very clean room, nice staff at the reception. Ok for the price.

We would have appreciated a second pair of pillows on the bed, the ones provided were tiny. The breakfast is extremely basic.

Everything was just about perfect. Car park, air conditioning,cleanliness and the staff went above an beyond to help and welcome us, especially Emerick who really looked after us from the moment we stepped into the foyer.

Lovely, clean and very comfortable family room. Air con was great as was the wifi. Check in was quick and easy and the staff were lovely, especially Wendy who helped when I needed it. Best Ibis I’ve ever stayed in!
