We were visiting the island for a wedding. It was in a great location as it was a short walk to the seafront and all the restaurants in the area. We had a one-bedroom apartment, and it was a great size with good facilities: a fantastic bathroom, a well-equipped kitchen and air conditioning that worked great. A private swimming pool was the icing on the cake.

It's not easy to find parking, but the host helped us find a spot. We weren't aware of how small the island was, so we probably could have done without a car and used the buses instead, which were very reliable.

The location is fantastic, just a short walk to the beach, close to great restaurants, and near the bus station. The hotel representative (Georgios) was truly amazing, so kind and helpful, making everything easy for us, including helping us to rent a car. The room was not so big, but exactly as shown in the photos, clean, comfortable, and cozy.

If I had to mention anything less than perfect, it would be the lack of TV signal and the fact that the hotel does not offer breakfast at all. However, with so many lovely restaurants nearby, it really wasn’t a problem.

I really liked this location. The area is quiet and close to the beach. You have shops, restaurants, everything you want nearby. The host helped us rent a car and gave us all the directions we needed. The price is very good. I highly recommend this location. We will definitely come back.

Maybe more attention should be paid to cleanliness, but it's understandable that earthquakes create a lot of dust. I went at the beginning of July and the water in the pool was cold, as was the sea. I think it's better to go in August.

Property is spotlessly clean with modern rooms and excellent air conditioning. Pictures on booking.com accurately reflect the room we were given, fresh and obviously recently renovated. Rooms were cleaned with fresh bedding and towels each day. As a repeat visitor to Santorini I can confirm that the location is fantastic, less than a 3 minute walk to the beach and restaurants/bars but set back enough so quiet in the evenings. Georgios the host is very knowledgeable and welcoming, we had a very minor issue with the room on arrival (blown fuse) and this was rectified straight away. Communication is fantastic via WhatsApp with quick replies and private transfers to/from the airport were arranged easily and, from experience, at least 20 euro cheaper for a return than an airport taxi/ Uber. We were also able to store our luggage and use a separate shower room for no extra cost on check out with our late flight. Pool area is small but perfectly formed and we never had an issue getting a sunbed at any time of day (it’s a very quiet pool so perfect for relaxing). Area around the hotel is very safe as is everywhere in Kamari! Mini market literally across the road from the hotel and a larger supermarket around 15 meters in the opposite direction. Honestly can’t praise our stay enough, we will be back!

The view from our balcony backed onto residential properties and so lacked a little bit. This had no impact on our stay as there was another beautiful, semi private veranda at the front of the hotel that we used instead but for our next stay I would request a street view.

The PERFECT location! 5/10 mins drive from the airport, 20 mins drive from the port, 5 minute walk to the beach. Away from the hustle and bustle of the narrow/busy/cobbled streets of Oia (pronounced ee-a and the place to go for the famous sunset) and Fira (the capital) - the price of Ifestia is also a quarter of the prices in these locations!! Both places however should be visited and are easily accessible via rented quad bike etc. Clean towels and beds/bins changed every day. Fruit and wine left on arrival as it was our honeymoon! Balcony looks directly on the beach and you can watch the planes come in. The pool area is smallish but there was hardly every anyone there - I assume as the beach was so close. Check out was 2pm but we were able to leave our bags at the hotel until our late flight. George is on hand via WhatsApp every minute of the day and so helpful with very good English. He can arrange trips for you and will recommend places to visit/eat etc. He will also give you a lift to and from the airport or port but other options might be 10/15€ cheaper. Great stay, well worth the price in order to stay on this beautiful island. I would choose Kamari over the other towns without doubt and Ifestia is a great place to do it! :)

The rooms are clean and fresh towels/bedding daily but it is not Mrs Hinch standard. We were offered a lift to the airport for €50 (€30 taxi and €20 complimentary tips) but we had already personally tipped the cleaners so found this way over priced considering the airport is a stone throw away. We were only charged €30 for collection from the port which is triple the distance. Anyway, Santorini has Uber and yes it works! Minimum charge of 35€ (£32)

Good location, 5 mins walk to kamari beach, literally there’s shop outside for all needs. Pool was enjoyable. Ac turns off when window and door is opened which seemed like a magic initially.

Public parking is your only choice if you have rented, which can make car parking a bit of a hassle.

The location is perfect, less than a 5 minute walk to the beach and right by the bus stop to Fira and Oia. The pool was great, and the bed was comfy. Georgios also kindly picked us up from the airport and drove us back there for our flight back. Really good value for money, we loved our stay.

Excellent location: close to the beach, still relaxing, because beach bars are not in hearing distance. Grocery stores, restaurants, car rental etc. nearby. Great hospitality, friendly, helpful staff!

Hotel was great - exceeded expectations. Georgios the owner was excels t - picked us up and dropped us at the airport as well as helped us get to wedding appointments we had to attend.

Room could be slightly bigger with a set of drawers for putting clothes away but really not a huge issue
