The front desk staff was helpful and courteous, especially when we checked in at around 1am. Breakfast was certainly better than most hotels--scrambled eggs, pancakes, biscuits & gravy, cinnamon rolls, sausage, oatmeal, homestyle potatoes, fresh fruit, cereal, etc. were offered over the course of the two mornings we dined there. There's even a small "store" where one can purchase snacks (4 different kinds of mac & cheese! is this a Utah thing?), beverages, and postcards. The complimentary airport shuttle was great, and the commute was only about 10 minutes! Salt Palace Convention Center was a 15 minute walk, or a 4 minute car ride. In either case, very easy to get to as it's literally a few blocks up the street. Our room was clean and comfortable. It included everything we might need (fridge, microwave, coffee maker). We popped in to see the pool, gym, and dry sauna, but didn't really have time to enjoy those offerings. Perhaps on a future visit, as we'd stay here again.

It was really a pleasant visit overall. No complaints about the hotel or Salt Lake City.

Service was exceptional! Made you feel like family. My family and I were there for my sons brain tumor surgery at the University of Utah. Everyone was eager to help no matter what position they held. The pool and hot tub was nice 😌 and the gym and sauna were an added bonus. The breakfast bar was a great start to any day. It sure was helpful to grab a bite and run back to the hospital for the day. Thank you very much to a wonderful tesm.

People staying there throw trash and cigarette butts on the ground . Disrespectful as the grounds were beautiful and well maintained.

We loved the central location and the great sized bedroom. We were asked which floor we wanted which was definitely a bonus. The beds were very comfortable and the bathroom spotless. The breakfast buffet was amazing and although there were lots of people, we were able to quickly find a table for 4. The pretty inside pool was definitely a plus. It's great location allowed us to walk around town and to our restaurant in the evening. It was very enjoyable and we would definitely recommend this place!

Be careful with parking when checking in. Although the hotel provides a 'guest parking pass', we got a ticket while checking in!! The hotel handled the situation and we didn't have to pay for it.

I was in Salt Lake City for a conference and stayed at this hotel for a total of five nights. It was significantly cheaper than the hotels very close to the conference centre. I also needed a parking space for my car. What can I say, I was very positively impressed from the first moment. I had asked in advance for a quiet room and my wish was absolutely fulfilled. During my entire stay, the staff was extremely friendly and courteous. Even after I left, when I needed a few documents, they were extremely helpful. It's rare to experience such attentive service. Otherwise, the standard of the hotel was absolutely fine for my stay. I will certainly stay here again when I come to the city. Thank you!

We really liked that there were fresh sliced fruits for breakfast. The fresh cinnamon rolls were a delight. Also there were real plates and mugs - this seems to be unusual since every other hotel is using plastic one-time-use plates, cups and cutlery nowadays which is sad because it creates so much waste. Also the free airport shuttle was amazing and really helpful. We had two rides with different drivers. Both were safe drivers and knew their routes very well and were on time and fast. The rental car company was just five minutes by foot from the Crystal Inn and getting the rental from there was so much cheaper than the same branch at the airport.

This is really picky but we would have liked more English muffins and also bananas for breakfast.

Staff were amazing and so helpful. We loved getting to meet Aaron, who picked us up from the airport and gave us an insight into Salt Lake City. He let us know that High School Musical was filmed in a school close by! My wife was sooo happy as loves the movies, we visited and was even able to get into the school for photos. The hotel even arranged a station transfer for us 2am when we got the Amtrak for the next part of our journey. Rooms were massive with a great TV selection. We even had a microwave and fridge, which was a nice touch as taking away from meals can be difficult when on holiday. Next to a lovely Mexican restaurant and the pool and in hotel store had loads of options.

Not much really, ticked all the boxes for us and our needs. We wanted to stay longer as was nice and comfy. 😀💙

One of the best places we've stayed in a while! The entire staff was courteous, helpful, and friendly! The room was very clean and roomy. Beds were comfortable. The shower pressure was fantastic, and the towels were not the cheap ones we seem to run into more often. The price was more reasonable than others we looked at in the area, which were also charging for parking, while the Crystal Inn Hotel & Suites had free parking! We will most definitely recommend this motel to our friends and family! It will also be our go-to whenever we are back in Salt Lake!

Staff was great, breakfast was also great. No standing in line for a waffle machine — plenty of hot and other food options every day. Located close to anything you'd want to do downtown, and easy access to get to anything else in the greater SLC area.

I called to confirm details of a "Family Queen" room because Booking.com said it had two full beds and one sofa bed, but the Crystal Inn website said it had two queens and a sofa bed. The hotel rep said the room has queen beds. They were not, they were full beds. Everything else about the stay was fine to great, but that detail was important.

Location is good, within walking distance or short drive from city center. Convenient parking, clean, facilities are good although some would benefit from renovation

The hotel was overloaded, long queue for check in, or any desk services, Breakfast queue was so long that we preferred to skip it on one of the mornings. On the other day, some of the trays were empty and were not refilled (at least not while we were there) Service people were very nice and attentive but there weren't enough of them to provide good enough service

Breakfast buffet had a great variety of options. Hot and cold. The Hotel itself was central to all of the attractions we visited. I don't think we drove more than 15 minutes in a radius to all the attractions and events. Close to plenty of restaurants. Plenty of parking close to the entrance. The room was spacious, microwave oven, refrigerator and 2 queen beds. All very clean. However, we did not have hot water for the entire stay there as apparently one of the water heaters was broken. But, all in all, a very good experience.
