The female 4-bed dorm was a great size with cubbies, though you do need to bring your own lock. The private bathroom was very spacious and updated with excellent water pressure. Barely saw my roommates since I was out of the dorm during the day but there were never more than 3 people including myself staying in the room which was great. I was also able to take a free yoga class and wish I had been able to take advantage of all the included activities!
Beds were extremely squeaky and I do wish there were curtains but with the provided ear plugs and an eye mask I was able to sleep without any issues. Location is a bit sketchy, there are great restaurants, breweries, and bars literally 1-2 blocks away but you have to walk by construction and homeless encampments to get there. Still worth it to me but just be aware.

Very Clean Spacious rooms Nice facilities with free passes to the gym and bouldering Lockers in the rooms (but a normal sized lock doesn’t fit them)
Light in the room is always on, affecting sleep quality - no switch to turn it off and they have glued the plug into the wall so you can’t unplug it!!!! This was absolutely ridiculous and so weird!! Security camera pointing into the bed area of the room - so weird and invasive of privacy! A hostel without a kitchen area or at least some plates/bowls/cutlery ?? Bedbunks are super squeaky you can’t move without waking someone up. Requested a lower bunk due to a knee problem and was met by staff with slight attitude

You could have an entire vacation without ever leaving the property, between the comfortable rooms, climbing gym, fitness studio, skate park, sauna, bar, coffee shop, and multiple areas to relax and hang out this was an absolutely incredible atmosphere. While not in perfect location (it is a couple blocks outside of true downtown) it is easily walkable to temple square, delta center, and countless shops, bars, and restaurants. I did have a rental car, but other people I shared a room with did not and they were easily able to get picked up for tours of the nearby great salt lake and other natural attractions.
Because the climbing gym is open late the rooms can be a liiiiitle bit noisy, but nothing the earplugs provided in room can’t fix.

The hostel surprised me being my first one in the States. It was wonderful, truly. Everyone was respectful and I loved the locker room. I would have been uncomfortable without the option to know there's a bathroom free and to shower/dress leisurely. A towel, blanket, and hand towel were waiting on the bed. I got in late , stopped by the locker room first, then went in and passed out. There was little noise in the room. Everyone was so courteous and I felt like shifting in the bed was the loudest noise. The room got nice and dark so once I settled in, I passed out. The Oat Latte at the coffee shop was a great pick-me-up. They also had food there though I didn't get any. Great value. If I return to SLC, I'm getting the suite next time. There were so many amenities; it was whelming.
I needed more time there with all the awesome things to do. I've never been bouldering and would have liked to try it. I was just in town for a long layover. The lock and key they give you only work for the small in room storage (Think metal cubby/mini locker). This was mentioned at check-in. I accidentally took it with me and I would have liked a reminder during checkout (which I didn't officially do, as I prepaid. That's on me). Get a real-sized lock for the locker room to lock your stuff up. I wasn't worried without one though.

It was absolutely amazing. The staff was so nice and helping. The place was stunning and had a lot of nice options like the sauna or the climbing gym. The room was very clean and people I was staying with were all super nice travelers. A lot of spaces to work, a cafe, a nice bar and roof top. And a good location (20/30 min walk from downtown). It was the best hostel I ever stayed at !

This is the coolest hotel/hostel I have ever been in. So many chill hangout areas, rock climbing area (which I did not use), plenty of free parking, bunk beds with the most comfortable mattresses in the history of hostels. And they had a bucket of free earplugs in the room (which I unfortunately didn’t see until morning LOL). Each bed has its own little shelf, light, and plug. Each person also has their own locker and they provide little locks for them. If heaven has hostels, it’ll be like this place.

I liked the fitness center, bar, patio, espresso bar. Facility was clean and modern with a young, outdoorsy vibe.
Nighttime noises kept me awake. Stayed in a four bed room with three other women which was great, but unknown noises (intermittent sounds from plumbing? a phone alarm going off in a nearby room?) kept me awake. Earplugs were available in the room but I was too tired to get out of bed to get them. Probably not an issue for non-seniors...overall I really enjoyed this place.

Modern, clean, coffee and sauna. A woman long hair blonde I met in Falls and this time was always nice & treat people well.
The location is a bit far from bus/train. The girl at front desk when I checked in not having 1 smile or greeting me. I was so uncomfortable. The bunkbed was so loud when just little move.

I took sauna in locker room, it was nice. The property were clean and neat. Good amount of space. Many activities to do.
They didn’t message that it s inside the Eve hotel so I was looking for the hostel, wasted time & energy. I didn’t like the bunk bed, the steel made created lots of noise when the top bed person moved and she moved ALOT ALL NIGHT. I could sleep & had to take sleeping pills

The common areas are so cool with a climbing gym, yoga classes and sauna free for guests. It's nice to work there as well and feel free to do what you want. My room had no outside windows (but the ones into the climbing gym), which was perfect for winter hibernation
