Exceptional Stay at Carthage Thalasso Resort in Gammarth We recently stayed at the Carthage Thalasso Resort in Tunis (Gammarth), and it was an unforgettable 5-star experience. The customer service was exceptional, with staff who were attentive, always kind, and genuinely caring. Their warm attitude made our stay even more enjoyable. The cleanliness of the hotel was outstanding. The housekeeping team ensured that everything was spotless, with both day and night service to make sure we never lacked anything. Every corner of the hotel was immaculate. The quality of the food was equally impressive. The breakfast offered a wide variety of international and local flavors, from delicious chocolate crepes to traditional bread galettes—everything was a true delight. This hotel is ideal for a family stay. Traveling with three children, we especially appreciated the hotel's excellent facilities, which were easy to access. Whether it was the seawater pool, the kids’ pool with water slides, or the private beach just 50 meters away, there was something for everyone to enjoy. The location is also perfect—only 10 minutes by car from La Marsa and 20 minutes from Sidi Bou Said. A special thank you to Wassim and Adam for always taking such good care of the kids, and to Mohamed, the reception manager, for ensuring everything ran smoothly. We highly recommend Carthage Thalasso Resort and look forward to our next visit!

The hotel is super beautiful and the Tunisian culture is evident in all its details. It has several options for leisure, the beach sea pools (indoor/outdoor), spa, delicious restaurants, etc. Also their staff are amazing; especially Hala is so charismatic and extremely helpful and knowledgeable. Slim is very helpful. All the staff made me feel like home. I definitely recommend and will definitely come back!

I spent 4 nights with my wife. The hotel was very nice and clean. You have everything you need and the staff was very nice and helpful. I really appreciate the help from the reception responsible lady - although I don’t remember her name- when she was very helpful and accepted to change our room the second day to another one with a large bed. She was smiling and accommodating which was really appreciated. The breakfast was nice and very diverse. All the staff were nice we had no issue.

The restaurant was bad and not in line with the hotel standards. The meat is very bad in general either cooked or grilled. We tried the open buffet and the other restaurant but we decided to go out for a proper dinner in the last couple of nights.

We had everything there , pools + beautiful beach + nice indoor pool with slides for the kids. Huge thanks to Mr Mohamed who managed my booking with my kids and wife and mother in law and upgraded them to a triple room instead of double room. I got the junior suite and it was fantastic and comfortable. The food was delicious , you will find a good variety and many restaurants. When I come back for sure this will be my first choice.

The design of the hotel is perfect

Menu of the restaurant is not English The hotel change our dollars to Tunis dinars just 1 dollar to 3 while all hotels do 3.2 People who are not guests or residents in this hotel can come in and use the pool Breakfast is ok for the weekend and it is so limited

Luxury resort , big and beautiful entrance and lobby, clean big rooms, great facilities, perfect service. The food was delicious

There was maintenance going on one of the swimming pools which happened to be my view, very loud work.. other than that this resort top my list when coming to Tunis

The beach is right at the back of the hotel. The hotel on its own is an attraction, there is plenty to do. The hotel is clean. Breakfast buffet has a variety of options.

The staff only speaks Arabic and French no English! Discoloured bathroom towels and gown.They were yellowish instead of white. The matras was on the hard side.

All staff I can say where amazing, special thanks and appreciation to Wafa'a in Africana Bar, was sad to know she left the place, and all house keeping staff were really kind and helpful. tried many hotels in Tunis and this is one of the best.

Some very basic things in the room was not there and it was bit surprising for me to be honest! like complimentary water and coffee bags. You should find a way for the mosquitos at night in case you open the balcony. Breakfast was normal i can say, and the pool bar menu really needs more options, and the problem that the menu is unified between pool bar, the restaurant beside the bar and the room service which limits your varieties. And all in all, I am lucky that I can speak Tunisian although I am not Tunisi, but for others they might struggle as the English of staff there should be enhanced a little.
