The hotel provided exactly what we were looking for - a comfortable overnight stay on the way to watch golf. The host was great and very helpful, the continental breakfast was super convenient as it allowed us to make a quick exit in the morning to get up to the golf and snack throughout the morning at the course. The location is fantastic, the town of Girvan is beautiful and full of character, Turnberry is only 10 mins drive and Troon is a little over 20 mins.

The room was small for 2 grown men but it was fine for a short stay

Nice big family room on the top floor with a view lots of room for 4 people. Very quiet location, close to the train station and the town. The food in the bar was fantastic, m partner had a steak that was cooked to perfection and I had a steak pie that had lots of meat in it. Owner was very friendly and helpful.

We missed room service as we were having a lie in so breakfast (continental served in your room) wasn't replenished for the second night so we didnt have enough milk for breakfast. I'm sure a tray could have been left outside the door or a note passed under the door to collect it later from the bar.

The breakfast was continental which was in the room. There was plenty to eat: choice of cereal, selection of fruit, orange juice in the fridge, croissants and pain au chocolate. Tea and coffee was available in the room too. The rooms were clean and they were quick to assist us with our questions. There was free parking in car park and on the street outside.

It was lovely. I'm not a continental breakfast person. I usually book a cooked breakfast on my travels. It was very well replenish throughout my stay.

Loved the place perfect for what we wanted

Friendly staff. Warm and welcoming room. Hot shower, comfortable bed. We stayed in a family room, which is on the top floor, which was quiet. In-room continental breakfast was good.

Shower didn't drain well and there was mold above it on the ceiling. Stained bedsheets.

Continental breakfast was more than adequate, lots of choice plenty of teas & coffee fresh milk, staff very friendly and welcoming location perfect for us, rooms clean and spacious and comfortable

The stairs showed how unfit I am. The bar was closed.They dont serve food other than continental breakfast in the room .

The breakfast was Continental and perfectly satisfactory.

The hotel was quiet, so the bar and restaurant were closed - a pity, as I know from many previous visits for Rotary meetings that both are of a high standard.
