Our visit was part of a motorcycle tour, which required secure parking for two motorcycles. After a long and tiring journey, we were greeted on arrival by John, who was immediately friendly, welcoming and informative, taking the time to show us our rooms and explain the geography of the town. The rooms were immaculately clean and well appointed, with a surprisingly large bed and a shower that was hot and powerful, a must for any motorcyclist. The property was situated within easy walking distance to the town centre, shops, restaurants and bars as well as a very clean beach.

Nothing - the whole package exceeded our expectations

The location was great. Handy for everything Ayr has to offer. The rooms were behind the main house around the courtyard as the name suggests. Each room has its own front door so access is easy. The room itself was beautifully furnished with kettle, tea and coffee available for guests use. There was plenty of hanging space and slim drawers under the dressing table top, and I think on both bedside cabinet units. Although the window and half glass door looked straight onto the courtyard itself, heavy curtains provided ample privacy. The bathroom was well laid out with a great shower and heated towel rail. There was shower gel and hand wash provided which was great. A wall shelf provided easy storage for toiletries. We spoke to the hosts on a couple of occasions and they seemed really nice and helpful and happy to have us there. Everything in the room was absolutely spotless and I can't think of anything else that could have been provided for our comfort. Oh, and the super size bed was really comfortable. We would definitely stay there again and I'll be recommending it to friends and family.

There was absolutely nothing we didn't like or would change

I really enjoyed my stay at Miller House Courtyard! John and Denise were so kind and helpful, and went out of their way to make sure that I was comfortable and enjoying my stay. The room was spacious, clean, and was perfect for me as a solo traveller, and the location was ideal as it was very close to the beach, the town, and busses and trains. I was able to walk everywhere! Thank you so much, John and Denise! I really appreciate everything you did to make sure I had a wonderful stay!

Although the main room was quite small it was well laid out was nicely decorated and had everything we needed. The shower room was bright and spacious and the kitchen area had tea and coffee making facilities as well as a small sink and fridge. Everywhere was scrupulously clean. It was an easy walk to town and beach from here and had private parking. The owners were delightful and very friendly and helpful. We would definitely stay here again.

Price didn't include breakfast. Very convenient for town centre and promenade. Adequate car parking ( though I came by bus) Modern attractively furnished room. Free WiFi. Tea/coffee making facilities. Although not 24 hour staffing, arrangements were made for me to check in at my time of arrival. Ironing facilities provided at no extra cost. Shower easy to use, works effectively.

A visitor steps from outside straight into the room and needs to have the curtains drawn when privacy is required. Not an issue if little time is to be spent in the room, though wouldn't suit everyone. Not much space around the bed, but again may not be an issue to everyone.

Location was within easy walking distance to restaurants, bars, seafront. Hosts were very war and welcoming. Comfy bed with good quality linen.

Bathroom didn't have an extractor fan so mirror steamed up during shower and room got condensation Bathroom radiator was a bit dangerous because it was extremely hot and it was hard to avoid touching it with your leg as it was too close to WC. Skirting edge on door / window wall needed dusted / cleaned. Few stains on duvet cover.

This is my second time staying at Miller House , its a fantastic place to stay in ayr for a couple of days , nice room out in the courtyard with everything you need and close to the shops and bars etc in ayr . We'll be back next time we're coming through to ayr and you have parking in the courtyard as well 👌. So give it a try people as you'll not regret it .

Perfect central location for the beach, shops, sightseeing. Great hosts and accommodation fabulous. Perfect little home from home.

No negative comments from me. Everything was just perfect. My own space, spotlessly clean, great hosts who had a rapport with all their guests. Always on hand for any issues, I had none. Gave advice on nearby places of interest.

On arrival, we were greeted by the owner and his wife. What a lovely couple so warm and inviting. . Showed us to our room. It was very clean modern,cosy .king-size bed very comfy. The court yard is lovely with on-site parking.we only stayed for an overnight. For the price was well worth paying for that you get, I would definitely recommend this property and definitely will stay again.

There is nothing to dislike .

Great place. Less than 5 minute walk to the beach or the town. Parking onsite, allowed to check-in early, and a great conversation with the host who was really friendly. The room id almost brand new and a separate annex to the main house. Small but perfectly adequate for our night stay. Would happily stay again, Thank you.
