Room very good size. Comfortable bed. Very friendly staff
No heating jn bathroom. Shower screen didn’t prevent water getting onto floor (Pointed this out to the owner) Breakfast very good but didn’t particularly like the sausages. Dinner was excellent.

I liked the welcome and the help from the staff.. The food was delicious and right size portions, from breakfast to main meal at nights.....I liked the area the hotel is situated, within nice easy walking distance to local shops and to the beach... The hotel is beautiful outside and in..... I liked how breakfast was free and especially for the rate of the rooms this complimented the price 🙂.... The bed was very comfy and had a really good sleep. The size of the room was really good and the bathroom was very nice too.... Loved visiting Ayr and seen some lovely places....
I read the reviews before booking and I did read it was taken over by new management and that people weren't happy with the decor a bit. But all fair and well im sure new management would be trying to get the business back up and running, but I would say that even doing one room at a time thats needed just to keep up some of the wear and tear that's noticed...... The only other thing is because of the rooms needing a bit of tlc but I don't know about every room the price is a little steep,I didn't mind, but little cheaper would have maybe made up for that.

We are mature cyclists making our way through the length of the UK in byte sized chunks. Ayr was at the end of a memorable and strenuous ride. Staff were welcoming and very friendly. The happy smile of our breakfast waitress and her tale of Prosecco journey celebrations will be a memory we’ll cling to. Meals were good, bedroom comfortable and clean. Our bikes were safely stored overnight.
We were on the third floor, up two flights of stairs…one wasn’t easy to negotiate with panniers etc. The electric shower was hopeless. Too many variations in water pressure to make a successful wash possible. Happily there was an alternative bath…but not particularly environmentally friendly!

Staff were really friendly and helpful. First room, cosy double, tv didn't work so upgraded us to a huge room with garden view. Very dog friendly. Breakfast was lovely and great parking and garden to sit in in the sun. Bar prices very reasonable. No problem getting fresh milk for my coffee in room. Great location for walking into town or beach
Rooms a little tired but not a problem. Hairdryer was ok but next time I'd take my own as I have thick hair so need a good blast. Small cups in room for coffee facilities so would ask or take own mug next time but that's a me thing.

Didn’t expect such a magnificent room! It was slightly tired but huge, the bed/mattress super comfortable, I would have liked to bring the pillows home! Room was clean, bedding fresh, bathroom nice and big. Location was good with nice garden grounds and about 10 minutes walk from the beach. Dog friendly and lovely staff, no issues whatsoever
Cooked Breakfast was great, table service was a nice change from buffet style breakfasts but would have appreciated hot drinks/juices to be self service so I could have had a couple of cups of coffee and would have also liked a bigger offering of breakfast pastries/croissants

The room was gorgeous with a lovely view. The hotel was gorgeous. Staff were friendly. Great value for money. Loved being close to the beach and would love to be there in summer when we could access the garden.
The food situation was a bit hit and miss, especially breakfast. Breakfast was included in the price so I think we definitely got value for money. It's not that the food wasn't good. Food at night was lovely. It's just that the breakfast options weren't great. Now part of the problem was probably the weather which had hampered deliveries so it's not a deal breaker in terms of a return visit. It was just a wee bit disappointing.

From the min we walked into the hotel the lady on reception was brilliant and so welcoming I had no phone charger .the lady organized to let me borrow 1 of someone .and made us a coffee while we waited on our room..the little girl that served us dinner and breakfast was so efficient and professional I think her name was Payton sorry I not good with names .she gone over and beyond for us.the hotel was lovely safe and really cosy.there was also a gentleman there that we were chatting to that brought the charger for me .the checkout was easy and professional. We definitely will return to this hotel thank you guys for everything you done for us.
There was nothing that we didnt like

As normal food good apart from beef tasting a bit salty in the steak pie I left a bit of it Everything is still the same since take over please don't change it to much Loving the menu still has two/three courses for a good price
Some of the staff smart dressed and other with chunky white trainers and jumper on Other server hair all down while serving food a little off putting to be fair And I will always say the hairdryers really need up dated for ladies with long hair and with colour we need a good hairdryer the ones in the rooms are no good more so if you have problems with arthritis in the hands as I have to hold a wee button while drying

Room clean and plenty of space. Staff friendly and helpful, Location was great and ideal for visiting the Air show. Plenty of outdoor space.
I realise they were very busy because of the air show and apparently has recently had new owners but, food for dinner was a little hit and miss. It was either brilliant or not so and whilst staff made an effort to make amends, which we didn't avail ourselves of, when it went wrong it is something that the hotel really need to sort out. Walk up second flight of steep stairs was quite a work out but I think there isn't much that can be done about that.

Savoy Park Hotel is a beautiful old property with well kept grounds and in a fantastic location. We stopped in Ayr over night on our way down south and found the room perfect for a one night stay. The beds were comfortable and we appreciated how clean the room and bathroom were. The staff were friendly at check in and check out. The location couldn’t be better - the town is walkable, we had a delicious dinner at The Growler just down the street, and we enjoyed a lovely quiet walk down to the beach at sunset.
