Loved the view! The room size was great, I loved that it had everything you needed - kitchenette area, dining area, spacious porch, and large balcony. Just a quick drive or walk to the historic downtown area. Bed was comfortable and windows offered a welcoming in the morning! We were in room 303.
Nothing really — The water pressure and temp were great for the first two days, then it took a while for it to get warm on our last day. It was also the coldest day so far, so I’m thinking that had something to do with it. We ended up turning it off for a little while and when we tried again a little later, it was totally fine. No issues- just sharing the tip in case it happened to anyone else.

You must understand,it is not chain hotel - it is locally owned. They don't have 24/7 front desk. We arrived very late - 1.20am. But I made call in advance and they left my key in safe place,so I didn't have any issues on check in so late Room was clean, nice, carpet on the floor - it was great! We were here on winter,so carpet was warm comparing with tile. Great view. Very close to Appalachian ski resort! 8 minutes only,we loved this opportunity! And the Food Lion supermarket in 2 minutes. It is definitely very good option if you going to ride on Appalachian!
Everything was good

Great location and room 303 is a HUGE room that had great views and a very comfortable bed. Very clean, quiet, and safe.. if you have a dog, theres a deadend road to walk them on.. vending machines right near the office, fully stocked and working. Darren or Daryl, I apologize. I dont remember his name correctly. He was very friendly. I'm already planning on returning in a couple of weeks.
Honestly Im trying but can not think of 1 thing I would change about our anniversary getaway. It was perfect.

I called after I booked because we were going to arrive very late at night. Staff accommodated our late arrival with no issue. The room was spacious and clean. The view was beautiful! I wish we could have stayed longer, but we were only there to sleep for one night basically.
Only complaint was the shower did not drain very well. And there was someone playing very loud music late into the night which was frustrating, but the inn can't help that.

Our room was great; welcoming, well-stocked and very spacious. I traveled with my husband and two of our daughters. In some of the other 'chain' hotels we stayed in, we were cramped and squeezing past each other, but not here! We were pleasantly surprised by the amount of space in our room. And the view... unbeatable! There is plenty to do in close proximity. We visited the Tweetsie Railroad just a few minutes down the road. There was a good variety of items available for breakfast and Darren is a wonderful host.I highly recommended a stay at Cliff Dwellers Inn. Melissa

The name of the hotel put me off a little, but when we arrived and saw that almost every room had a private balcony that overlooked a small lake below the stunning Blue Ridge mountains. The room was very large and so was the bathroom. The best part of the hotel is that it sits on the side of a VERY steep hillside so every room seems to have private unobstructed views of the mountains. It is also close to the center of the town where they have many interesting restaurants. This was the surprise winner of the best hotel we stayed in on our three week vacation.

I love the nostalgic look and feel of Cliff Dwellers Inn. It was cleaner than any other hotel or Airbnb that I’ve ever stayed in. The location was excellent and the views are great. The staff made me feel like we had been friends for a long time. We will definitely stay there again. This place is a gem
That I couldn’t stay longer.

Lovely Motel in a convenient good location with beautiful views of the lake over the road. Staff were very friendly and helpful and room was clean.
Breakfast is mentioned in posts for this motel, however, this is not currently being offered. Coffee facility is available in reception but access is limited based upon when reception is staffed. If you know these things, the motel itself is very quaint and provides everything else you need for a comfortable stay.

Darren was very polite and hospitable! This was our first time staying at this location and we already plan to come back within the next few months. It’s in a great location in Blowing Rock, and then roughly 15 mins from Boone. The room was very homey and very clean! We have no complaints!
