We stayed here for one night and as we were tired from travelling we didn't venture out so I cannot advise on how good the location is. It suited us very well. The grounds are lovely I had a very nice swim in the pool which I really enjoyed. The staff are really helpful and I was assisted in using the coffee machine as I was having difficulty. The room was quite small but was perfectly adequate for us for one night. We were on the ground floor and could see our car parked right outside which was a real bonus for us. Also we could open the window so we had an alternative to the Air Conditioning if we wanted it. The breakfast was excellent, help yourself buffet and the gentleman organising breakfast was doing a first class job as everything was hot and fresh. For the cost of this hotel we were very impressed.

Nothing really I think this is a great hotel

We loved the property. We got a suite with private pool and jetted tub. Also loved the fireplace! It was perfect for my family of four. The breakfast was so good and filling. I’m so glad we stayed there.

We didn’t get to use the pool because closed due weather which is a little weird because it’s supposed to be open year round indoor and heated. Thank goodness we got the suite with our own private pool because my kids wanted snow and swimming on their trip before starting back school. The pool wasn’t really warm either but it was okay.

The Meadowbrook is perfectly located for easy walking around Blowing Rock. The room was very clean with wonderfully comfortable beds, good shower, and plenty of towels. The bonus of an indoor pool to gently exercise and relax is a definite plus.

The light switch by the door of my room didn't do anything. Lights had to be turned on or off at the lamp, one of which was behind a table and a bit hard to reach. There is only one elevator and it is quite slow to appear.

We were in the middle of a road trip and expected a little motel in a small back country town, but discovered that it was a very classy hotel in a bucolic vacation hot spot. Great interesting little summer town, which we sadly did not have time to explore, and a very clean and comfortable hotel with lots of amenities and charm. The lobby for example had many cushy arm chairs and a fireplace and the clerks were very friendly and informative. Highly recommended.

The only difficulty was that there had been a rock slide and truck accident which affected the main street, so there was a confusing detour and it was thus very hard to find the hotel in the dark but that was not their fault!!

Beautiful hotel - inside and out. Staff was very friendly and accommodating. Indoor pool was nice.

Property seems very spread out. For instance, we had to go to a completely other building to use the laundry. Breakfast was good but a little hard to find, as was the pool and fitness center. I realize this is because it is built on a hill and space is an issue. Also a hot tub would have been nice.

So cute and decorated extra cute for the holidays. Extra large tub even in standard room. Very friendly staff who even saved my sleep by promptly turning off an alarm clock at 6am in empty room next to me when I called down to the front desk. So much nicer than a hotel.

The AC/heat units use a recycled water system in each room so you hear what sounds like running water which I initially thought was an overflow of the sink or tub happening in room above me. Once they explained, I found it relaxing to listen to while taking asleep but it could be annoying to some people as it is fairly loud. I assume they get lots of calls about it as the lady instantly knew what I was talking about and had a nice clear explanation.

The location is perfect. It takes only a few minutes to walk onto the main street where you can expect everything from the town, a few fine restaurants with great reviews, a nice history-telling park, and a trail into the forest. The front desk staffs were agile, very friendly and helpful. The room was well furnished with good bedding.

There was a lot of dust and stuffs left under the vanity in the bath. The room was not offered a Daily housekeeping as the policy says. The breakfast is too simple for the price but acceptable. And, one of the housekeepers didn't ask any questions before assuming I was with a pet. She then let me pass after I told her it was a service animal. That really made me uncomfortable.

Everything was great my partner and I was going to see blow rock on Dec 8 we were in our scooter heading from the hotel my partner was going up front of the hotel her scooter flip this was a our honeymoon we didn't see anything on blowing rock had a ambulance to pick her took her hospital this trip was very important to us we never been anywhere plus my partner almost die 2022 Dec and almost died in 2023 I don't know when would be the we safe for this trip plus Patricia has lung cancer to everything was great thank you Deana Terevinto

Great location, close to downtown Blowing Rock, walking distance to restaurants and shops. Meadowbrook is close to both Main Street and Chetola Resort. Our room was clean and comfortable, with coffee maker and mini fridge. It is an older hotel as far as style, but it has everything you need. The Breakfast is good but crowded, on our stay we sat outside the dining room as there were no tables available. The hotel has a Bar on the ground floor, which is nice if you want a drink. Both the Front Desk person, Jacob, and the Bartender, were friendly and helpful. It is a bonus that you can book just one night at a place that is so convenient to everything including the Blue Ridge Parkway. We were surprised to be able to get a room at peak leaf season at the last minute.

It's a personal annoyance that a hotel in this price range, does not provide real glasses in the rooms. Plastic cups only. This was easily remedied by going to the Bar and asking for glasses, which the bartender was happy to give us. Also the towels need to be upgaded ... one of our bath towels was severely frayed.

great location, beautiful gardens, nice breakfast. Rooms are updated, clean, and pleasant. Coffee and fruit water available in the lobby was a really nice touch.

The HVAC system in the rooms seems to be very old, and it's LOUD. Woke me up every time it came on all night long. Same for the elevator. Our room was on the other side of the lobby from the elevator, but it too is super loud, woke me up every time someone used it during the night. Not the end of the world, and I realize that these are not easy or cheap problems for the hotel to fix. I'd stay here again, and I probably will, because everything else was superb. Just wasn't a very restful night.
