Overall, the stay was excellent, super comfy and exceeded our expectations.

The only separating this from the perfect experience was mostly the little things... Excellent heat, though unit was somewhat loud. Beautifully clean rooms, though with the lights out one can see light coming in around the curtains and in some places light peeking through the curtains where they have worn over time... Also, I believe the rooms were fairly quiet though you could hear sounds/conversations coming from outside the door/window. Shower's water pressure was decent though the shower is somewhat narrow. And lastly the walk to get ice required a short walk outside, which in colder months (our stay was over a snowy New Year's holiday) can be a cold walk.

I liked how quiet the area was. I liked the designated parking spot right in front of the room.

There were no fan vents in the bathroom so it stayed very humid after showers. There wasn't a lot of counter space to get ready, or in the room in general.

The location was great. A very short walk to city hall/park area for a great evening hanging out in town. The social on main has a great breakfast and again just a walk away. Room was very clean, comfortable and quiet eventho we had neighbors. The lit up gazebo at night is a perfect place to have a nightcap or 2.

I can't think.of anything that would be note worthy.

No breakfast offered. Location was very good. Bed was very comfortable. Good TV selection.

There was no soap dish. Soap kept sliding off the sink into the basin. Bathroom curtain was starting to pull off the wall.

Everything, very comfy for being small. Felt like a tiny home.

Location nice. Very clean! Bed was a little uncomfortable. Felt like a down mattress. But everything was amazing. The tv set, the porch, was able to walk to stores and restaurants. Close grandfather mountain, Boone, Blowing Rock, very, very nice. Would definitely be back. Hopefully the mattress will be better.

All went very well with the location and very clean and updated room! But we kept waking up during the night due to the louder than usual sound of the heater. If they'd leave earplugs in the rooms, that would be a great idea. If not, I'm suggesting guests bring some.

Close walk to downtown Blowing Rock. Nice outdoor area to relax.

The AC unit would beep all night when turning off and on. Could not get it to stop so needless to say we did not sleep well.

It’s very close as in walking distance to the best breakfast restaurant. The hospitality was phenomenal. Many places said they were short staffed but still welcomed guests with open arms.

We ran out of hot water about 8 pm to take shower.

We were surprised to see a motel type layout but the room was very quiet and clean. The staff was friendly and helpful and we had a coffee maker ( with extra supplies readily available in the office), microwave and a fridge. We also appreciated the fact that there were 2 chairs to sit on.

The mattress needs to be replaced. It has seen better days.

Location is perfect, mountains very closed and the small town too very nice place.

The shower drain was clogged and i had to take a lot of the hair that was inside of the drain, I think maintenance should check on those things, also they should have better shampoo and soap, they need to check on sheets I think they can be a little bit newer, everything else was great.
