The property is walking distance to any and everything we wanted to do in the town including an outlet shopping mall and great restaurants. although it is on a main street, the angle of the property is such that you do not hear street traffic at all. The grounds are beautifully maintained, and the staff was welcoming and personable. We stayed here because the hotel we had originally planned to stay had a water main break. We are so glad to have found this place for all of our future stays as we come to the area often.

Although there is a Keurig in each room and coffee in the office area at 6:30 every morning, the coffee was not all that great. But that’s not a big issue.

I loved what was called the gathering room .. a beautiful peaceful place to sit and relax outside .. aka outdoor sunroom. I also loved the garden. It was absolutely beautiful with all the flowers. The room was spacious and the bed was super comfortable. All staff was very friendly. The fridge kept my water and ginger ale very cold. It was the best fridge.

I wish there was a light breakfast offered. Like yogurt, or even just fruit.. just a thought. Also a microwave would be nice. Cold pizza isn't the worst but isn't the best 😂

Check in staff was friendly and helpful. Retro designed yet clean and spacious room. Nice water pressure, plenty of clean towels and pillows. Small fridge and Keurig with coffee selection in the room was a nice touch. Several outdoor gathering areas with gas fire tables in a garden-like setting were enjoyed. Location was wonderful and within walking distance to most restaurants and shopping.

Mattress in Room 13 was uncomfortable and lumpy so it didn't provide a good night sleep. Next door guests could easily be heard through the walls. Window coverings were sheer drapes and a roller shade which did not block outdoor lighting coming into the room.

We really enjoyed our stay in the cabin as it was so quaint and comfortable with a full kitchen, living space with a stone gas fireplace and loft bedroom! It was within walking distance of great restaurants and all of the shopping! We will definitely book another stay there!

The bed mattress was a bit hard for us, but the manager went out of her way and brought us multiple blankets to help us! She was amazing to work with and so helpful!

The location was amazing! 2 minute walk into downtown Blowing Rock, literally around the corner from Mellow Mushroom and The Speckled Trout. Walked to dinner, had ice cream next to our restaurant and enjoyed my coffee on the walk back! Also the grounds around the inn were lovely to walk around as well!

No big red flags here, location was great, and the room was clean! Were the walls thins? Yep. Could I hear the shower from the room next door? Yep. But it's got vintage decor vibes to match the old school construction.

No breakfast was offered, but they do have in-room coffee with a k-cup machine, and they keep an urn of coffee on the patio for morning consumption. There's also some snacks and they put ice in a cooler for guest access.

The ice was all used up before the morning when we need to get some.

Excellent, cozy. The garden was so beautiful although we didn’t get to enjoy that much , it was raining the whole time we stayed there.

Bathroom is only downstairs and it’s really hard for old people to go down few times in the middle of the night to use it but overall it’s so cozy and beautiful.

The location was perfect and I enjoyed the "hominess" of the facility. Lots of beautiful spots to sit and drink coffee and you could walk anywhere you would like in Blowing Rock! We would go again!

Carpet in the room-- though clean and well kept-- I would prefer hardwood or laminate flooring.

loved the fire pits and coffee area. We sat at the fire pit each night for several hours and had hot chocolate. The extra coffee was an extra treat.

Could use a little tender care. Wallpaper in bathroom could use replacing.

Amazing location (a quick walk to downtown Blowing Rock), rooms were clean and comfortable. The gardens and outdoor spaces were so relaxing and comfortable - lets you enjoy the beautiful scenery. The staff were very friendly and attentive. A great place to stay if you are visiting Blowing Rock.

No indoor common spaces other than your room, so you have to make do with the outdoor common areas, but they do have firepits to keep you warm.
