Location was excellent, staff was great and friendly. We parked our car when we arrived and didn't get back in it until it was time to head home.

Bed and pillows were softer than we prefer. Our the first night was windy and dtormy and the windchimes just outside our door and the wood plaque on the other side smacked against the building making it hard to sleep. We wised up the 2nd night and set them gently on the ground aas the wind was gusting up then as well. The owner was fine with it.

Location. Location. Location. For the places we like to go and the things we like to see in this part of the NC mountains, we like having Blowing Rock as our home base. The Homestead is walking distance to everything in BR so having options for shopping, drinking and dining without driving is a big plus. Beds, linens and pillows are all satisfying. Fireplace in room is a great touch. Keurig, jet tub, ceiling fan, AC window unit, flat screen Spectrum service, internet, fridge and microwave in our two-bed room. The room is adequate for two adults. It would be too small and very frustrating for four people with luggage.

Parking is tight. We have stayed in three of the rooms and they are either cramped or very cramped. Bathrooms are very small in some of them and ample people will have little wiggle room.

They have done the best job rehabbing this property. I will stay here every time I go to Bloeing Rock! Walk to downtown. There are 2 fountains with koi winds, and flowers everywhere! Swings, fireplace and eating areas outside. Very serene

I had a great night at the Homestead Inn, apart from the massive storm that rolled through, I had a great night's sleep. Need was very comfortable and the sheets were super soft. For the money you cannot go wrong

The location , staff was very friendly. Room was nice and cozy. Beautiful place to stay with all the flowers and work that was done on the property. Such beautiful flowers. Loved the fire pit especially when it got cool in the evening time. Most of all pet friendly for our fur baby. Will definitely come back.

This little inn is charming and the location can’t be beat! This trip was a month long road trip planned for myself and my daughter, 30 and blind. We met several people at the inn who stay on a regular basis. Sat on the covered patio outside the room in the rain enjoying each other’s company. The room was rustic, very clean, the bed was comfortable and we liked having the mini fridge and microwave. The staff were warm, welcoming and quick to offer suggestions for restaurants. Would come back in a heartbeat.

The window air conditioner above my head was a little noisy, but I get they only had so many options to provide it in this setting without changing the integrity of a historical setting.

Great location for a night in Blowing Rock! Everything is in walking distance from the motel. The bed was very comfortable!

I thought it could have been a little bit cleaner. The bathroom definitely could have been cleaner, and the tops of the tables in the room were dusty.

Within walking distance of downtown. Room was clean & comfortable. Staff was friendly… Flowers & landscaping on the property was beautiful!

Wish there was a breakfast buffet available in the office area. Coffee maker available in the room however along with mini-fridge.

The property was beautiful, couldn't believe how the flowers were blooming. (amazing). Room was very clean and inviting. Everyone made us feel welcome. The motel was in walking distance of everything.

The coffee in the office wasn't available when we got there, already gone by 7 am

We stay here every year. We love being able to bring our little dog with us. The property is located one block from the Main Street.
