Very comfortable, well located near town, very cute old house. Loved my little porch by the garden. Loved that there was a Hulu subscription so I could watch some of my shows without having to remember my password. The onsite contact wasn’t there when I arrived but I got her on the phone and she was SO helpful walking me through getting access. I was able to get into the room early which I appreciated. Overall a lovely short stay. Would return.

WiFi was very weak at best and sometimes unavailable. Short steps up onto the porch no issue for most, but I need to hold onto something. I used the flower pot and then the post and that was fine but a handrail on one side would be have been better. These are minor complaints, overall I loved the Victorian Inn. Very comfortable and pleasant.

The proximity to town is what makes this place a true gem - once we arrived, we didn't drive anywhere for our 2 night stay. Less than a 10 minute walk to plenty of shops, a small market and restaurants and only about a 15 minute walk to the entrance of Moses Cone Memorial Park/Bass Lake. The air was already turned on and had our room nice and cool (anyone that knows, old houses with no central air knows heat rises), but the wall unit kept us nice and cool during the whole visit. Cookies and coffee and creamer was also waiting for us. Karen texted us when our room was ready well before check-in, which was appreciated :) The bathroom was large and spacious, which is great when you have a tall spouse :) There's a lovely garden in the back, as well, which I loves hearing the little stream walking back at night.

Everything was perfect

The Victorian Inn is a perfect location to spend time in Blowing Rock without having to get into the car. The room was cozy, and the bathtub was divine! There is a great breakfast place across the street, the Famous Toasty. Just perfect for starting the day. The walk-up Sunset to Main Street is filled with fun places to eat or drink. Once you get to Main Street you are in the heart of Blowing Rock. Definitely would return to the Victorian Inn.

We could not figure out how to turn on the fireplace.

Loved that we could walk into town and there is Famous Toastery right across the street. We enjoyed breakfast there before our hike. Trails are just minutes away and there is also a trail head in town. The inn was quaint and we loved the fireplace. It was still warm outside, so we just used it for ambiance. Owners were very responsive and we were delighted to be able to check in about an hour early. Loved the little sitting area and cosy studio vibe. We would stay here again and would be fun to rent the whole inn and cabin house out for a big-family outing!

There wasn't anything to wash our mugs/glasses with. We just rinsed in the bathroom sink. The pillows were not very comfy for me but my husband loved them. Wish there was a recycling bin as well. We kept all our water bottles out so hopefully they did get recycled.

Would have been useful to have shower gel as well as shampoo, milk pods were off and no sugars in room. As no staff on site meant we had to go without a coffee the evening we arrived. Staff responded quickly to message next morning though which was good. Unfortunately the toilet brush holder hadn’t been cleaned which made me feel a bit nauseous. Otherwise room was very clean so this was a great shame

Room very nice and overall setting was nice. Even had a fireplace, albeit electric; room was presented very nicely, a quality feel. Location was further from the main part of the town than I’d hoped but was walkable, sorta.

No table in the room and the hot water took forever to come up. No breakfast included even though I originally saw this and booked it was because it was listed as a b and b but the note after you book (with no refunds) casually stated that they no longer did breakfast since Covid! Don’t know where or how they would ever have done it with the way it was set up.

The property is stylish and well done, the room was large, nicely furnished and the bed was super comfortable. There is a coffee maker, fridge and microwave, which for longer stays is very useful. The Inn is a short stroll from the Main Street of Blowing Rock which is an upmarket small town in the mountains with lovely restaurants and shops. The innkeeper Karen was so helpful and charming. We would highly recommend Blowing Rock and The Victorian Inn.

A nice sized room with a cute sitting area on the 2nd floor (small flight). Short walk to the charming downtown and numerous restaurants close to the Inn. Comfortable room, AC and Wi-Fi worked great. Karen the Inn manager easy to contact and very helpful. Wish we had more than one night to visit this quaint town, would definitely stay here again.

I loved the space and cleanliness! The bed was so comfortable and they had all the amenities we could need including coffee and creamer! The reading nooook was so quaint!

You could hear the neighbors next door. The walls were thinner so I could hear them laughing and listening to their T.V. Also, if would be nice to have a “black out” Curtain option since there is so much natural light!

Close walk to everything on Main Street. Pictures online are accurate…The room looked the same as photos online. Room was clean and we enjoyed having a kurig in the room with complimentary k cups. The heating fan in the bathroom was a plus! The housekeeper Karen is sweet and helpful.

The king size bed needs rotated around. My legs started hurting in the middle of the night due to them being elevated so much higher than my head. It was a soft bed, it just needs rotated. Also, the door could use a draft guard. The draft from the hallway to outside was chilly! And since there is 2 inches of open space under the door we could hear our neighbors. That’s the only two things I would suggest. Other than that our stay was great.
