It was very quaint. We really liked being able to pull the car right up to the door and unload. Nice size refrigerator. Cute little table and stools to sit at for breakfast. The shower was fine. The front desk staff was helpful when I needed a freezer to store our ice packs. Completely enjoyed the rocking chairs out front. Such an easy walk to downtown!

The view out the back was a fence and the garbage can was very smelly right outside our room. There was not much to do on the property.

the property was very cute, the rocking chairs in the front was very fun and was a good place to make a phone call, the ice machine was close as well and the main area in the lobby was calm and comfortable. When we asked for an extra towel since we were 4 and there was only three, they gave the full thing (towel, hair towel, make-up towel, and face towel.)

They called us three times to make sure everything was okay, but they did the same why it was time to leave as well. The ckeck-out was at 11, right when it hit 11:05 they we were pressured to get out of the room.

Great location, quiet place. Our room was big, beds are comfy, with a lot of pillows.. Our bathroom was very clean.Good quality bathroom towels. We loved two rocking chiars at front porch.

The place is outdated. No vanity in bathroom, only sink, no room to put your toiletries. Our beds were squeaky, LOL...

We stayed in the Tarheel Suite and we loved sitting out on the balcony. The suite was huge! It was very clean and the bed was very comfortable! You could very easily walk to downtown Blowing Rock and all the shops and restaurants. We loved that it was pet friendly and we were able to meet all sorts of folks out and about with our dog.

We wouldn't change a thing.

Stayed in the Tarheel Suite which was spacious. Beds were very comfortable. Easy walk into town.

Was able to hear the TV of the guests in the next suite very late into the middle of the night. Had to put on a sound machine app to cancel out the noise.

the connivence of the property is the best! it’s maybe a half a mile from downtown blowing rock. perfect for animals. they have rocking chairs to enjoy the fresh air right outside your door.

the scenery of the back of the property (like out the back window). There was a voicemail that was left saying after I paid for the place they needed a credit card on file or I couldn’t stay.

We loved being close to uptown so that we could walk everywhere instead of drive. The room was comfy and cozy.

The door automatically l9ck when they close. We got locked out on one occasion and hadvto get help from the office.

Just one thing. The water pressure in the sink on cold was very slow. I think I left my pajamas in the bathroom and I called yesterday to see if they had been turned in. I will happily pay to have them returned.

We enjoyed the sitting area and the little kitchenette. It was really nice to have a separate room as well as the bedroom. The proximity to all the shops and restaurants downtown was a big plus. We always had a parking space available! And we had excellent Wi-Fi, both from our unit and from the parking lot.

Location to main street restaurants and shops. Coziness of room. Pet friendly.

Received redundant phone calls after booking from staff asking same questions and for my payment information several times.
