My fifth stay in the hotel. Upscale feel the second you enter, despite somewhat tacky lobby and room interior. Very spacious and well appointed rooms. Staff very helpful. Cleaning service excellent. Fine dining restaurant and lively bar on site. Excellent value for money overall. Tram station few minutes walk away (5 stops from Louisa metro station and shopping area), as well as Carrefour Express market. Short walking distance from trendy Chatelain area on one side and some of best nightlife places (Lily's) on the other.

Check out at 11 am. Location not the best for tourism and EU institutions - metro station quite far, but then Brussels public transport is excellent.

Excellent location if you want to explore the south side of the city and the large nearby park. We traveled with our dog, it has good options for giving him a walk. It was our second time staying there, the room was nice and spacious. The manager was very kind and went out of his way to help us.

At check in you can add breakfast for a reasonable price, but not the morning of. The room (10th floor) gets a lot of sun (nice!) but became quite warm with limited AC.

I came for work so didn't spend much time in room but friendly staff, no problems with guests. Their working schedule fit my work time well, so they did cleaning while I was away and did not interrupt me when I was in the room. Kinda fit all my needs. Also, price was lower compared to other hotels near the place I came for work. The hotel is probably more fitted for couples who on holiday, but it fits for work also. On check-out, they offered to write all details about me and my company, so I didn't have issues with papers, which is really helpful.

1. This one kinda joke, but coffee was really bad (maybe because I'm not used to it, but it had sweat smell). Still, drinkable. 2. QR scan in lift sometimes works really hard, from what I understood in over 6 days, you need to touch the scan with the QR code card but even if you do, it sometimes does not read it, and you need to repeat it few times (could be my personal problem, not sure about that). 3. Bath is a bit small, if you take a shower, you end up hitting the shower pipe with an elbow or curtain in the other side.

Boutique hotel, just out of the main streets, with a nice atmosphere and ambience. It’s a good walk to the main areas but there is also a tram station if needed. Good size rooms, has everything you need to keep you comfortable.

Large bath in the room for two people was amazing but sadly the water system / pressure was so low and slow it took over 45 minutes to fill it, not that this affected our stay.

Very good location with tram outside the hotel and corner shop with one on the other side that says open till 3am. The hotel has this English glam / old fashioned/ royal look which I loved. Brussels quite small so everything easy reachable .

The inter connecting doors . I think it was room 209 quite fin and can hear someone on the other side. On last night the neighbours called reception complaining of noise and there was no TV and we were just talking .

The room was large, clean, and comfortable, with a good shower. I got a great night's sleep. Very good location, friendly, helpful staff, good bar/restaurant, with good beer and bar food. I would be happy to book again.

Everything was great, except the weird experience I had when paying a bar/food bill. My starter was charged at twice the menu price, and I was charged for three beers when it should only have been one. It was quickly sorted by a very helpful lady, but it should never have happened. The room fridge didn't work. Customers endlessly wandering back and forth in the bar area, speaking into a mobile phone, was unwanted.

This was my second visit in this hotel. In reviews there are a lot of negative comments concerning the outdated interior of the rooms, but didn't find it an issue. My room was cosy, clean and well equipped. The style is very fascinatingly traditional, and I like the way they maintain it. The staff are kind and polite and do their work very well. Breakfast was delicious every morning: I appreciate that they focus on quality instead of quantity. Everything was fresh and of good quality. I had one dinner and once drinks in the restaurant, and both food and service were excellent.

Some minor issues with cleaning, for example had to ask for more toilet paper, and the toiletries were not restocked every day.

The restaurant staff are not professional in providing the service. I went to the restaurant to take a cup of coffee they bring it to me after 30min waiting and when I finish I went to the restaurant reception to pay they told me please set and we will come to your table and they let me wait for 20 min just to pay for Cup of coffee so to drink cup of coffee I lost 50min why I need to wait all this time for just a cup of coffee. Their was 3 staff in the restaurant at that time 2 ladies and 1 man and they look that each one of them need to push the other to take the orders from the tables and this is unprofessional attitude 🙄

Location could not have been more perfect, short tram rides to the 'tourist' areas as well as central Brussels, walking distances to some of the nicest shopping and restaurant locations as well as accessible transport links to other areas of the city. The room/suite was great, spacious, cool on a few particularly hot days, balcony access with great city views and the bed was comfortable, especially in my case as I am not a short man.

Some of the aspects of the suite need modernised, I could see this was being done in other areas of the hotel, their corporate suites, conference rooms and dining rooms were in excellent condition, however we had a couple of issues with the shower not draining very quickly, a few loose/unsafe looking electrical outlets and the WC did not lock (also at the time seemed to have an issue with the WC sink, it's mains water stopper was closed because of a broken washer on the tap that caused it to constantly run, an easy fix but we made do.) Only thing to note on the location is if you are on the East facing side you will hear the rumble of trams, though you get used to it quickly.
