I liked the ambiance of the whole place. The breakfast room was super, breakfast good. It was lovely to have the communal area to have drinks and to sit. The staff were responsive, friendly and helpful. There was great attention paid to details. A bit quirky and fun. As a solo traveller I felt very comfortable.

The reception staff seem unaware there are 2 railway stations in the city, Brussels Central & Brussels Midi. Eurostar goes from Brussels Midi. I queried this at reception and was told they all went from Brussels Central. When I got to Brussels Central there were signs for Eurostar. I spoke to a lady in a shop who told me Eurostar went from Brussels Midi 20 minutes walk away or 1 stop from the Central Station. There was no signage in the station for this. I was able to get the information as I can speak french and had allowed plenty of time. I think it fundamental information about your city for the reception staff to have.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at a delightful, family-run hotel that exceeded my expectations in every way. The moment I stepped inside, I was charmed by the cozy, welcoming atmosphere that exuded a distinct Victorian vibe. The hotel, managed by a talented mother-and-son duo, is a testament to the mother's impeccable taste in decor. Every room is thoughtfully designed to capture the essence of a themed, historic home, complete with intricate details that transport you back in time. The comfort provided here is unmatched, especially considering the very reasonable price. The staff deserves special mention for their warm hospitality and exceptional service that goes beyond what one might expect. They truly make you feel like an honored guest in their home. One of the most enchanting aspects was the collection of coffee table books scattered throughout the hotel—beautifully curated selections on architecture, art, and travel that made me want to stay in rather than explore Brussels. Lounging by the fireplace, sipping their rich coffee, and flipping through these hand-picked books felt like living as a Victorian-era duchess, adding an unforgettable layer to the experience. If you’re seeking a stay that feels personal, warm, and steeped in history, I couldn’t recommend this gem enough.

Would have LOVED a decent size towel that covered the body - they only provide small waist towels For this price one should get a dressing gown and slippers. A kettle with tea and coffee facilities A mini fridge would be a bonus. Hair conditioner for Ladies to match the shampoo.

We stayed in room 65 which is a family room, enormous bed in one enormous room and a single bed in another room up a few stairs, then up a few more stairs to the enormous bathroom with a bath and a walk-in shower. It felt more like an apartment than a hotel room, it was absolutely fabulous! The staff could not do enough for us, in the reception area there is beer, wine and snacks for sale, there is chilled water and bottles to fill yourself. The free sweets on the counter were lovely, there is a pool table inside and outside a peaceful garden and patio area with a large outdoor chess set. There was a large choice at breakfast, cereals and nuts, even pots of chia seeds / raspberry sauce, cold meats, cheeses, various breads and fruits, pastries, jams and spreads and a small hot food section. Great coffee machine which delivered creamy lattes. The location is perfect for upmarket shopping on Avenue Louise, accessing the Grand Place area and the ponds at Ixelles, next to which is a great Art Deco bar with a wide choice of bottled and draught Belgian beers. Hotel is approx 10/15 mins from Gare du Midi so perfect if arriving by Eurostar. Thank you so much Made in Louise, you gave us a wonderful and relaxing few days away!!

The staff were so friendly and helpful! We felt welcomed and well taken care of. Thank you so much ❤️ We liked the location — it was a peaceful area but very close to public transport and also within walking distance of the city centre. There are nice coffee shops and restaurants around, as well as a decent supermarket. Our room overlooked the quiet inner courtyard, so it was absolutely tranquil. The bed was very comfortable, and we had a great night’s sleep. We also liked the common area that we could use. It included the courtyard and an indoor sitting area where you can make tea or coffee and grab a snack. The breakfast was very good. We particularly loved the tasty cooked vegetables, as we try to follow a healthy diet. Everything else we tried was also fresh and delicious.

The hotel is located within the housing complex of a quiet street in Ixelles. I greatly appreciated the extreme courtesy of all the staff and the spirit of informality and extreme attention to detail. In particular, the free drinking water, the herbal tea always available, an accessible garden where you can have a beer, and last but not least a terrace where you can have breakfast (much appreciated in the summer season).

Everything was very comfortable, but it must be said that the room was modestly sized (compared also to the cost of the facility) and did not provide enough privacy (with open windows one could easily see inside).

Very comfortable room, cleaned daily. Staff excellent, very helpfull and always smiling. Very close to a tram stop and not too far from Louise metro station (12 to 15 min walk) and shops. My room was on the fourth floor, facing the garden, very quiet and peaceful. Will definitely book again on my next trip to Brussels.

It was a little far from the city center, and the subways were typically hot and crowded. Not that big of an issue, but a little tough during the heat wave! Made in Louise has a lot of charm in the common areas - I was a little disappointed by the room in comparison. Something to add more personality and make the room feel less generic would go a long way!

We found our room clean, light and bright with everything provided. The location was very convenient for sightseeing and public transport. The breakfast was great, lots of choices and set in a nice bright room. The bar was convenient for tea/coffees and wine, beers and snacks. The staff were very friendly, efficient and helpful. Everything was in good working order and looked well maintained.

The room was very warm and didn't seem to cool down very quickly when the temperature control was adjusted. It was OK though as we slept with the window open instead.

The hotel was very unique. We liked the recreational options such as chess and table tennis and courtyard. There was a billiard room but rather small which made it difficult to extend the pool cues. There was free coffee and water all day. The room was clean and comfortable although a little small. The staff was very friendly and helpful. You can purchase snacks and beer. The location was ideal.. a 10minute walk from the metro station. We will definitely stay here again.
