We loved the location and layout. It had everything we needed and was really comfortable and convenient. The staff were super helpful and friendly. It felt secure also. There was a helpful information board at the front with things to do. The fish and chips and cafe next door were wonderful, excellent quality and well priced. We also loved the 72 flavoured ice cream on the corner, with vegan options. The beach and playground are near by. No complaints!!

The only thing would have been the laundry machine needed a bit of a clean/service. Everything else was fantastic.

Good location with walk distance to restaurants and supermarkets. It was clean and tidy. Nice place for a short stay. Busy road in front of accommodation but quiet during the night. Just cross the road you can reach beach and kids play ground.

Lift was not working during our stay. One of the reasons that I booked this place as it has lifting equipment. I was told there should be a message popping out during booking that I was never aware of. Anyway it is not a high building so should be fine for most of people. Unfortunately I am recovering from ACL injury… Limited supply of rubbish bag, shampoo and cannot find laundry powder.

The accommodation was very family friendly and we loved the location. With 2 young kids it was important to have all the 'things' around us and we felt like it was. We did choose to take our own food and do the cooking at the apartment which worked really well, the closest woolies/coles wasn't within walking distance. But there was the beach across the road, a park, ice cream shop, fish and chips and the kids loved scootering around the area. When we were staying there the lifts weren't working due to Cyclone Alfred but that didn't bother us and the owners were offering free use of the tennis courts and pool towels which was great.

The only downfall was the lifts not working but that was nobodies fault and didn't bother us.

From the moment we pulled up outside in the car on a rainy Sunday and Jeannette met me with an umbrella to escort me to reception, I knew we were going to like White Crest. The property is immaculately clean, spacious, and little touches like luggage trollies, and ice pops for the kids at the pool made this stay unforgettable. Jeanette and Kevin are wonderful hosts, and very knowledgeable about the local area. The pool is lovely, and the family games room is great if you have kids with you. Underground secure parking was also a benefit. An ideal base to visit Hervey Bay and beyond. A real home from home, but actually better because you are on holiday.

I wish we could have spent more than our four days/nights here.

The apartments are very central to walk to restaurants, pubs and beach. The apartments have a lovely salt water pool and covered outside family area which would be great on wet weather days. The apartment kitchens are fully functional for you to bring your own food and drinks if you choose not to eat out. You are allocated a parking bay under the building which is gated and opened using room key fob. There are a few outside guest car parks available on the property. The apartments have lovely balconies with sea breezes overlooking the bay.

The pillows are a little too hard.

We have just spent 3 weeks in Hervey bay as we love the place. Stayed at White Crest. A beautiful place to stay. The apartment was so nice we could not fault anything. Julie, Bob and all the staff were amazing. So warm, friendly, could not do enough for their guests. They go above and beyond. 100% recommend White Crest Apartments. Thank you Julie, Bob and the crew for our wonderful stay. When the lift broke down, they even offered to carry our items, groceries etc up the stairs for us, and said to ask if we needed any help taking things up to the apartment. Sue & Wally, Tasmania.

There was nothing not to like. Only the lift broke down while we were staying, but that is not their fault.

Unit had everything you needed. Kitchen was well equipped. Balcony pleasant Evening spectacle around sunset hundreds of rainbow lorikeets roosting in the trees opposite and lots of bats flying along the coastal strip.

Our Leather Lounge suite is very well worn to the point of being quite uncomfortable, sagging, needs work. Home made speed bump (half pine logs) in driveway is unnecessarily noisy/loose probably only a concern for units above and on driveway side of the building

Ahh, where to even start! The apartment was clean, comfortable, cute, and extra spacious for one, which made it feel very luxurious. It was also really well-equipped, with everything in the kitchen that I could've wanted, and a separate laundry room (which I didn't use as I only stayed for two nights, but it looked very practical). Extra points for the really comfy recliner chairs/sofa in the living room and an excellent shower, and the balcony where I could watch the changing of the guard from hundreds of rainbow lorikeets to flying foxes around sunset. The beach was a minute away, just across the street, and there were several nice restaurants nearby to get food from. Also, the staff was extra friendly every time that I interacted with them, and getting keys when arriving after hours was simple. So, just in case it wasn't clear, I really loved it!

Only staying for two nights :(

We had a few very small problems that were fixed immediately. Everything else was great; very helpful and friendly staff at book-in, the apartment was larger than expected and was very comfortable, bed was comfortable and although we didn't use all of the amenties, they were exceptional. Also, the foreshore right along the beach for miles was beautifully kept with many large shady trees, grassy areas, and a paved walkway with exercise equipment every so many yards.

great location right across from the beach, close to a lot of restaurants, coffee shops and services. Friendly & helpful staff, good under cover & secure parking. Good to have two Air cons in the apartment and a fairly well equipped kitchen.

Would be great to have an EV charger or at least a power point to charge. Air Con in the reception area was very cold - but that's just me, we prefer to save some energy and keep it at a cool but not freezing level. TV in the apartment needs some explanation on how to operate.
