The accommodation was in a central location, just a few minutes’ walk from the city center. The staff were very attentive and friendly. Parking was available in an underground garage across from the hotel. The rooms were beautifully decorated in an Oriental style. The breakfast was excellent, with an Oriental touch, and cost €10 per person.

The spa area is overrated. We did not receive any care instructions for the hammam treatment. Apart from that, the jacuzzi cover was not properly secured to the wall and fell on our heads during our time in the jacuzzi spa.

From the day of my arrival where I was surprised with an upgrade in my room till my departure I have nothing negative to add. From the location which is 3 minutes walk from the Castle and the central market to the actual Hotel which is a historical monument itself everything displays the love and respect of the owners. All details are carefully designed. It travels you back in time feeling so luxurious homely. The spotless clean rooms, the professionalism and warmth of the staff and the owner as well to meet your every need. I will definitely choose to revisit again. Either this or any of the other two hotels of this group. It truly reaches the 5 star hotel. Quiet, romantic worth every way it's value. I would definitely recommend it!!

An epic boutique hotel, very centrally located. Top quality, everything about my two nights stay was high standard. The interior is absolutely legendary, and will make you feel like you're in a movie, or a different era. My room was very big, huge and extremely comfortable bed, very quiet during the night. Needless to say that the design and all furniture and accessories in the room are also out of this world and very unique. The breakfast was magnificent, best coffee I had in Greece, and the staff was very polite. The price was extremely fair for a hotel like that. I wish I could stay a few more nights. Highly recommended!

From the minute we arrived, very late at night due to a delayed flight, the lovely Panos was there to greet us, with a huge smile and quietly making sure we had a chilled bottle of wine and some nibbles as we were starving after the flight delay! Apart from the warmth and help of all the staff (thanks C(K)asey and housekeeping too), the hotel itself is...quite simply... beautiful, with attention paid to every detail making each bedroom an individual piece of art. Huge proportions, massage showers, magnifying mirrors, a Nespresso machine in the bedroom with exceptional bedding the room is a total haven! Seriously, the photos do not do this hotel justice - it's a total gem for the price of piece of glass! I almost hate recommending it as I'd like to hope there is always a room ready for my next visit 😅 Thank you all for the most wonderful stay - and I'm normally not terribly easy to please! Everything was perfection

Everything is 5 stars!! Amazing place, amazing people, amazing food and coffee. Such beautiful rooms and high quality service! The City is also heavenly...: -Do you want something chill with delicious food? Stay in Ioannina. -Do you like nightlife and great drinks? Stay in Ioannina. -Wanna be adventourous? Stay in Ioannina, but rent a car 😁. Words cannot describe our experience here. 🥰

My wife and I were attending the annual 30K Lake Run event and we were looking for a hotel close to the start/finish line. The location is excellent, the staff is super friendly and helpful and they went beyond their way to make us feel comfortable and welcome. Their breakfast selection is superb with many, fresh made pastries, omelettes made on the spot and freshly squized orange juice among other delicacies on offer. The facility offers free private parking for your car, a major bonus for travellers arriving with their vehicles. In fact, the staff was so friendly and helpful that they offered us bananas and chilled water bottles for free when we arrived from our race and insisted upon carrying our luggage after we checked out! As an added bonus, the double bed we slept upon may have been one of the most comfortable I've ever slept in a hotel room ever!

We stayed for 3 days and loved our stay. The hotel is in a quiet street with private parking very close by. The staff were very helpful and we enjoyed using the Spa during the trip. The room was lovey with lots of nice touches. Enjoyed the little tipple and baklava left in the room. The bed was super comfy and was the type we didnt want to leave. The old town is less than 5 minutes away and everything in the town is very accessible.

Everything was perfect

The room was amazing. Everything was perfect. Lovely shower ,nice and comfortable bed and a very pleasant smell in the room. The gentleman at the entrance was helping us with our suitcases and explained everything to us. Parking is great and safe. For someone like us that hired a car and parking was a must Kamares hotel is the perfect place. About the breakfast, we did not include it so i can not say anything about it.

Nothing at all!

Fantastic property, very comfortable with nice touches (like baklava in the room, free snacks and ouzo etc) in an excellent location. The bed was especially comfortable and the shower was strong and hot. Lovely patio to relax.

However, the blinds on our windows were very thin and , since the lights in the patio were on late into the night (at least until midnight, when I went to sleep), our room was bright as day. I don't really understand how this could happen at such a nice hotel. Maybe they forgot to turn the lights off the one night I stayed, but they need to upgrade the blinds if not. I'm not a picky sleeper y'all, just want a decently dark room.

Wow! Absolutely amazing hotel. From the moment we walked in we were blown away. Stone walls and antique furnishings abound. The room was more of a mini-suite with its own living room. Fabulous decor and fully equipped rooms. Secure parking garage across the street. Located right off the main street, surrounded by cafes and restaurants. Five minutes from the Castle, the lake and the boat trips. Perfect.

There was no lift and a lot of steps. It didn't bother us, but might some people.
