Bed and pillows very comfortable. Very quiet location with view of the river from our room. Continental breakfast very welcome. Large patio and chairs outside our room. Wide parking space. Full length mirror in large room. Great shower pressure. Full size fridge. Plates, bowls and cutlery included. Kerry in reception is lovely. Also Rebecca the cleaner is nice. Bob the manager was pleasant. Fantastic seafood eatery (Allan’s seafood) next door. Not open Mondays. We bought a meat lovers pizza from there and it’s the best pizza I’ve ever had. Liquorland next door also very handy. CBD of murwillumbah only 10 minute drive away. We will be back.

Very surprising for an older-style motel. Spacious room with a big comfortable bed, nice touches with a table and two easy chairs, as well as a desk and office chair. I do like the bedside tables with lamps, as I am a reader and there's nothing worse when nodding off to sleep to have to get up to switch off the light, so the bedside lamps were great! Room comes with sufficient kitchen facilities, microwave, toaster, kettle, cutlery and crockery as well as a kitchen sink! Bathroom facilities very good, with good water pressure shower and fluffy towels. Everything spotlessly clean in the room. Also table and chairs outside the room. Excellent value for money. Nice touch with a small complimentary breakfast. Tea and coffee, cereals, toast and assortment of spreads. Breakfast room comfortable, with tables and chairs outside with views of the river. All together a good overnight stay. I will definitely make this my overnight stop choice when travelling up the coast

Pet friendly .Location was on the river and we loved sitting down by the bank with our little dog having a drink .Breakfast was basic but great because it was included and for the price of the stay I didn’t think you would get that. I loved that it all had a homely feel.Bob and Kerry were excellent hosts and never stop .Well done and thanks.

Only thing I would say that probably wasn’t great was how thin walls are between rooms and you could hear next door very easily however it being an older style that’s why.Wouldn’t stop me staying again.

It’s was spacious clean very staff they were very attentive 😊 Huge comfortable clean king size bed 🛌 Would stay again Very reasonably price 😊 Staff helped us with bags downstairs in the morning had a very helpful young man who took care of bags etc. Continental breakfast included Value for money 😊👍 also next door to petrol station ⛽️ food 🥘 cafes great location 😊

We had to go upstairs unfortunately we arrived very late otherwise am sure we would have had our bags taken upstairs for us 😊 Needed to stipulate when booking we wanted downstairs no problem walked into a fabulous spacious room with river views

We were late to check in due to a road closure, but the owner was still around to help us. The offer of free continental breakfast was unexpected but so nice to get as most don't offer anything free! Good kitchen basics so we could prepare our own food after arriving late.

Unfortunately, room smelt of cigarette smoke but as we were virtually straight into bed it wasn't a big problem. Only one towel supplied, I'm sure if I had asked for another, we would've got it but had our own so didn't bother.

It was a very peaceful and tranquil property on the river. Tables outside were pleasant to sit and chat with the river view. FREE basic breakfast (toast, cereal, tea/coffee) between 7-8am when every other motel charges for it. There was a dine in/takeaway restaurant at the front of property which we had dinner at. Food was absolutely amazing and well priced and convenient

Although it’s an older property and somewhat outdated and not modern, there is actually nothing I didn’t like.

Economical. Friendly greeting. Room was very clean throughout. Interesting layout but well equipped. Everything you need basically, including a real kitchen sink. Bathroom was very good with a tiled wall separating toilet from shower recess. A free basic breakfast is also on offer at specific times. A small swimming pool for use. Next to river. Some rooms have water views

Large cockroach found its way into the room and flew into the wall light shade in full view while watching TV. I captured it in a container and put it out the next day. Not the fault of the motel it was a hot night, they're about and this was a flyer not a crawler... Location was a bit out of town but reasonable eat in or take away food next door plus service station adjoining.

Phoned ahead to request an earlier check-in. Spoke with Kerry who was so friendly and helpful and assured me our room would be done first for our arrival. Had second floor unit overlooking the Beautiful Tweed River, so had our Lunch on the Patio. Room had all facilities required. Did not partake the 'free' Breakfast as we slept in.

Everything was lovely and would certainly recommend.

We have stay at the motel before so that says it all. Good size room with Fridge/freezer, Microwave, cutlery, and plates. The bed was comfortable, and the towels were very soft. Our room was on the 1st floor looking towards the river with an outside balcony. The room was very quiet with no road noise. Breakfast was continental with juices, tea or coffee, toast and condiments.

Just a couple of small German cockroaches that I killed.

Quiet, no traffic noise. Good hot shower, comfortable bed. Excellent balcony view over the Tweed River. Complimentary continental breakfast.
