Front desk staff were kind, courteous and friendly. The rooms and facilities were sparkling clean! While a little further away than most, it was much better rated and priced than the hotels closer to Coastal Credit Union Music Park (Walnut Creek), and was only about 15 minutes or so from the venue. Breakfast was good and consisted of cheese omelets, sausages, pancakes, muffins, cinnamon rolls, etc. Was not disappointed! Also had a concession area that was always open for snacks and even ice cream that my daughter just HAD to have at 12:30am after a concert lol. There were also restaurants walkable from there though we didn't eat there. Overall it was very nice and I would stay there again.

The only things I didn't like was that the woman running breakfast was kind of weird and intrusive. She said odd things (like she walked by me and said "Happy Halloween"...in April... Maybe because i was wearing black pajamas?I didn't look crazy or anything lol!)... And I noticed she had a bit of an attitude with the patrons, even if under her breath. Also, breakfast ended kind of early for a Sunday, at 9:30am, but it was still stocked enough for me to get good and fresh food at 9 or so. She kept a tight ship, I'll give her that lol... fixing and perfectly aligning chairs at the table we were still using and making sure everything looked in order lol

Spacious room, with comfy beds and pillows. They had two different pillows that were actually labeled “soft” and “firm” which was nice. Access was easy and so was parking. The staff were very friendly easy check in and check out. Nice hot shower, I love my showers hot not warm. Very clean. TV was huge and lots of storage. Decent size fridge and microwave. Breakfast was amazing! Plenty of hot breakfast options, the cinnamon buns were very yummy.

The pool didn’t seem too clean ( leaves on top and bottom) but it was cold. I bet if it was hot it would be clean. No real issues or complaints about the property.

It was clean, quiet, and the staff were friendly. The lady who was in charge of breakfast was very attentive to the food and keeping the area clean. The cleaning women were also consistently hard at work either washing linens or cleaning.

I think that all hotels with breakfast accommodations should not allow anyone under twelve to touch the food/drink areas because they are not considerate of guests.

My last day at the hotel, one of the housekeepers tried to open my room’s door when I didn’t answer their knock, It was 9:00 am and still sleeping. The reason I’m mentioning it is because I want the management to take care of it so it doesn’t happen again because it’s really serious

The breakfast was excellent and the location was real close to the wedding we attended and easy access to I-40.

Having to go to front desk for clean towels and toilet paper because there was no room service service because they said they were short staffed. They did not even ask if we needed trash pick up from our room. We stayed a total of 4 days with nothing done for us

Pleasantly surprised at the room - very clean and nice - and updated as I had been hoping from pictures! Also loved the dove shampoo, conditioner and body soap.

SHOWER pressure needs to be better. Also shower curtain was kind of weird - get why the snaps but might be worth spending enough money for two curtains -

Room was very clean. Continental breakfast had a good selection of buffet items & saved me a few dollars on offering in house breakfast. Staff at checkin was super sweet, friendly & accomodating.

Super friendly staff including the super sweet lady who keeps us fed at breakfast. That was our second stay when visiting son. Moving him back to Texas today so probably last stay in Clayton, but have enjoyed both stays

Very Clean, Great Location, Great Customer Service. I used to live in the area close to this hotel, recently moved to SC but have to come back to town from time to time due to health services for my son. This is the perfect location to jump back on 95 to head back to SC but still close to everything I need to do while visiting.

Breakfast could have been better. No variety especially for those non pork eaters. Liked the pancake maker. Coffee should have been available longer. Ended before breakfast was over. Would have been nice also in the evening
