Nice, well appointed rooms, AC worked very well and the bed was comfortable and huge! Amazing staff, everyone was so friendly and helpful. Special thanks to Udaya who works in the hotel and also drove us from Colombo in the hotel van, and to a safari in Yala. He made us feel extra special, and is a great asset to the hotel. Breakfast was also lovely, huge selection and portions of Sri Lankan or western food. Location of the hotel is great! Right in Galle Fort center.

This hotel made my travel experience even more memorable. Even before my arrival, they proactively offered helpful services, and I immediately asked them to book a spa treatment I had been wanting to try. They also kindly arranged transportation to the airport for my return trip. Once I actually arrived and stayed, everything exceeded my expectations. I arrived earlier than planned, but since a room was available, they kindly let me check in early. The hotel is housed in a historic building, so some aging is inevitable, but thanks to the meticulous cleaning, I had a very comfortable and pleasant stay. The location is excellent—convenient to everywhere and easy to find because of its prominent presence. Breakfast was also fantastic! A luxurious breakfast was included, which brought my satisfaction to the highest level. And that’s not all—using a foot massage voucher, I was able to relax even more, and for the airport transfer, they arranged a luxury vehicle. To my surprise, someone from the hotel personally drove me to the airport. I’ve never experienced such warm and thoughtful hospitality. It was a truly unforgettable stay. I will definitely stay here again next time I visit. Thank you so much!

We love the colonial architecture and the Location right in the middle of Galle Fort. Especially Love that our room was ready early when we had texted and they had air-conditioning. It was miserably, hot and gall, and the Room was our saving grace. The staff were very accommodating. We got the free foot massage and afterwards everyone upgraded to a facial or a neck/shoulder massage lovely. The breakfast was literally over the top whether it was the English breakfast lovely for a change with nice bread, butter and marmalade or the Sri Lankan breakfast which was truly amazing with every kind of curry along with hoppers and eggs at the bottom that was new and delicious. The only thing we have to say is that it was so hot. You couldn’t really enjoy the patio/balcony. Also, the beautiful big cloth foot tub could not be used because the water did not get hot. Going to the bathtub. There was a special hot water unit for the shower, which got very very hot

Fabulous hotel in a great location. Free foot massages were a nice touch too. However, we were disappointed with breakfast as a large party had eaten before us and area was not tidied up or replenished in the time we were there. Also, there were so many flies we felt I couldn’t eat it anyway. We settled for scrambled egg cooked to order on toast and coffee to avoid the flies. It’s a shame as the hotel is lovely. The 2nd morning we ate over the road at the Fort Bizarre which was excellent.

Wow!!! I love the Galle Fort and I don’t know of a better place to stay while visiting, than the Heritage Hotel. The room was spacious and comfortable, the meals were delicious, and the location put us right in the center of all that we wanted to do while visiting Galle. Also, I cannot say enough about the quantity of the service we received from the staff. The manager, Senuth, and his team tended to our every need, making the Heritage a place that I would definitely want to visit again. Thanks for a wonderful stay!!!

The building - It’s truly a historical piece now available for all to enjoy. I love the iconic heritage building restored to highlight its originality. In addition, all the art decos are aligning to give this beautiful place a real “take me back” into the past. The rooms - love how spacious the rooms are. The beds were super super king size, you can easily fit a family of five in that room. Aircon and fan all throughout - very comfortable.d Bathroom - clean and spacious just the way I like, however no dental kit was provided, which didn’t faze as I have spare toothbrush always on me. Balcony - Sun lounge seating just to soak in the sun if one is wanting some heat on them Breakfast - beautiful breakfast served to your table for USD12 each. I swear the breakfast is a meal for for a king, from western to traditional Sri Lankan food, it doesn’t just stop there, followed by amazing local fruit and fruit juices. Oh! And not forgetting unlimited coffee and tea. The chef comes out to say hello and ask for reviews on his cooking whilst the waitstaff whose smile is the highlight of the breakfast table goes above and beyond. Front desk and bell services - I think I have said enough, I’m reviewing this place with a big green tick. Keep up the good job guys, I will certainly be back.

The staff were very friendly and helpful. The hotel itself is a beautiful building and very historic. The room was spacious and comfortable. It was right in the middle of the fort with nowhere more than a 5 minute walk.

The breakfast was a buffet and we ate at around 9:30 and it had been out all morning and there were flies. It felt a shame this wasn’t served to order. Other than that the water pressure in the shower was intermittent but not a major issue.

The Heritage - Galle fort, a cosy hotel in the heart of Galle. In our one night trip to Galle, we mainly focused on staying in side the Galle fort. We got a very spacious, comfortable room in the 2nd floor of the Heritage. The room itself had a nice vibe, a king size bed and all the necessary amenities. And was very clean.  The staff was welcoming with a warm smile and very helpful. We happened to have an early check-in but they didn't hesitate even for a second to get us into our room. They let us have a late check-out too!!! We got a coupon for a free 10 min complementary foot massage at the spa upon arrival. Which made our exhausted feet very happy.  The location is great at the city centre where everything is within walking distance. Very near to public transportation services. I would recommend to friends, and will definitely stay again if Im back in Galle.

The setting, the beauty of the hotel itself, its location within the old Galle Fort zone, which was matched only by the quality of the service. Special mention must go to Suneth who took personal responsibility for ensuring our stay met and then exceeded our expectations. He then organised for our complementary transfer to Tangalle after some scheduling adjustments and later reconnected with us to assist with further transfers further into our Sri Lanka trip. Above and beyond our expectations. Thank you Suneth.

Location was great. Brteakfast-Western-was good. Room was generally good and pretty much in Line with an old Heritage Property in a restricted development area. The staff headed by Suneth Indika was very courteous and helpful.

The Air Conditioner made a lot of racket all through my stay and was brought to the attention of the local management but to no avail. They seem to be changing the units. The natural lighting is inadequate and the window is openable but without a mesh which is required to ward of mosquitoes.
