The staff were so helpful. Pleasant, took our luggage up and down the stairs for us, helped guide my parking, and made sure we had our breakfast. Room was comfortable.

No elevator service made it difficult for us. My husband has a bad back, and I was experiencing hip discomfort, so multiple stair climbing was very hard. We understand that at that particular time it was a temporary misfortune to us. This problem was rectified by the staff as much as they were able, by helping us when needed.

The location was right near the train. It was also close to bars, restaurants and stores. You could walk to pretty much everything. If your looking for a place to sleep this is a great option. They have a nice little continental type breakfast area. The lobby is big and bright. It was quiet at night. The rooms were very clean. The staff helped with any questions.

It could use a bit of bathroom updates. Still functional for our needs.

I loved the character of the building, it was more interesting than a standard new hotel. Knowing the vintage of the building, it was easy to forgive the lack of more modern amenities. We will stay again!

The elevator wasn’t working and we had to park on the street overnight due to limited parking. However, the staff communicated that at check in and even offered to carry our bags to compensate for the elevator.

Room was good, fridge and microwave much appreciated. Room was clean. Staff very helpful. Close to train station (I travelled there by train). I liked that they had lactose free milk at breakfast.

It's not a particularly nice area. No view from window. Elevator was broken (although that was good for exercise). It's an old building and the finishes are worn, but still good value.

Staff went above and beyond to get my son into a room. He traveled for work and there was no hotel room, another hotel, booked for him and he forgot his credit card. Staff called me and then sent a form via email so I could pay for him. Great price too.

Thin walls

The breakfast was good. The staff entered friendly. The room was safe and quiet.

I would have preferred the bread at breakfast to be served by a different method. Perhaps from a container with tongs. Otherwise, great breakfast!

Central location, close to station and restaurants. Second time staying with you, and the room was smaller,and a little more expensive than last time. We had a good stay, thanks 😊 🙏.

Just that the room was smaller than last time, and of course it was a bit more expensive.

Visit dad in hospital took bus and accessible bus was right out front cab to hospital right out front. Staff were so nice.

Elevator is broken and old

Room was comfortable, staff were friendly and helpful.

Parking was limited, had to park in underground parking across the street on our second night. Crossing the street was difficult, especially with luggage on check out.

What really was impressive was the way the staff went overboard to assist me as I was on a tight schedule. I had for warned them and they were well prepared. I really felt they really cared and wanted to do all they could. Professional customer service where my business was appreciated and acknowledged. Thank you very much for the privilege to respond.
