Except for not having waffles, the breakfast was amazing. They had almond milk as well as regular milk. They had bacon/egg bites similar to the ones Starbucks sells. The hotel was amazingly clean even in the middle of a snow storm with folks tromping in with wet shoes. It's about a year old, so that helps. The pool even had a swivel chair to allow a disabled person to get into the pool more easily. They sell a variety of snacks and frozen meals if you need that. They have a 24 hour gym. They also had electric car chargers in their parking lot.

They didn't mention that some of the lights in the room won't work unless you use your plastic key to turn them on, using they device at the door after you enter. The location is off I-90 in the middle of several other large chain hotels, but more in the back, so it's a little bit hard to find amidst the other tall hotels.

The first thing was, of course, the check in. You're tired, a little irritable and you want as fast a checkin as possible. Shawn was just that. He has the right personality for his job which extended further when he greeted us with a big hello and remembered us from a previous stay! That is always appreciated, full stop! The bed was outstanding, the comforter was light but warm, the sheets--THE SHEETS! Oh my they were so soft and crisp! (will be doing some shopping when I get home). The room was large and comfortable, the tv was the right size for viewing, and WHAAT the MLB Channel??? *ding ding* I will miss the little bottles of shampoo, but the large pump bottles were more than acceptable.

I almost hesitate to include this in the "-" section but the breakfast was pretty average. I think the entire occupancy of guests decended at the opening time all at once, so clearly people want their breakfast before they hit the road. Include bagels, multigrain bread and a belgian waffle maker w/syrup dispenser and you will make breakfast more memorable. One tiny suggestion would be to include some kind of instruction (like say..."push") for the blinds, especially the sunblock shade for us "geezers" who never had motorized curtains! Lol

Love the Newness! Modern done in a very good way! Staff...Shawn V. in particular! I had booked thru Booking.com. I had to change the dates, they confirmed the change but not thru the Hotel. So I didn't actually have a reserved room but he helped me out! Yay! Shout out to Shawn V. again! Unfortunately I got charged for the 1st night and I need to figure that issue out. Bummer to find out it went thru right after I had paid my bill that month. I enjoyed the hot tub and that it was open till 11pm!

Clean, comfortable and fairly quiet. Some highway noise. Brand new so fresh towels, sheets, etc. Fridge in room and water station to refill water bottles was a nice perk. Snacks to purchase onsite and nice places to eat nearby. Close to Billings Clinic and hospital. No frills decor was nice, with lots of hooks and hangers to keep clothes tidy.

TV worked sporadically. Tried to connect via streaming service option, no luck. Asked to mail a letter and front desk said no unless I wanted her to take it to the post office personally. No microwave or coffee in room, but available in the lobby. Nice that the hotel is pet friendly, but not used to several in the lobby and food area outside of checking in. Grab and go breakfast until 9:30–pretty blah except fresh whole fruit.

The hotel was quite clean, was a good value, breakfast was adequate but the staff were the star of the property! They were just so exceptional in customer service! So very friendly, helpful and just wonderful. We just stayed at another hotel in Billings, ended up canceling our stay after one night and came back to Avid. They are all truly on their A game!

Love the upscale minimalist choices of this place. comfy bed, linens pillows, shower bath products room had everything we needed for our overnight stay. Breakfast was fantastic. stayed here on our way to Glacier and on our way back home. Lance & Isiah at reception were very welcoming. Absolutely love this place. Will definitely stay here again... Thank you

New hotel, very clean and excellent location. Staff was nice.

No coffee maker in room is so annoying. Not a fan of the key card electric. It's just like a European hotel which lacks amenities in rooms and rooms are very small. Heard dogs barking. So you let dogs stay but I can't make a cup of coffee in my pajamas before I shower? You should advertise avid as your Euro hotel that also allows dogs.

Staff were all very friendly, from the front desk to housekeeping. The whole place was immaculately clean! Location was great. And breakfast options were awesome! Something for everyone - from omelets to sausage biscuits to fruit, bagels, and granola bars.

front desk staff doesn't know the area, talk so much but everything was wrong. I guess he is new in town. 10 -15 mins minds to downtown

The hotel was very modern. Beds were comfortable. We were just passing thru so really didn't use the amenities. Breakfast was good. Bonus for the cool coffee machines the would grind the beans. Also water dispenser. We didn't use them but I noticed they had EV chargers.
