Going to or coming from the Rosslare ferry, this guesthouse is perfectly located for nights rest before or just after your crossing. Ashley is situated in a quiet rural location a short walk to the local pub Cushens. A visit recommended. Margaret is a hospitable hostess and cooks a delicious and very nicely presented full Irish breakfast. The rooms are clean and have a TV, hairdryer, tea & coffee making facilities extra bedding and pillows if required, there were even reading books in the drawer and a Chocolate biscuit to enjoy with your tea. The bathroom not only had towels, but face wipes, tissues, body lotion, shower gel, shampoo and conditioner. Absolutely brilliant for an in transit stay. Our bed was very comfortable and our night was undisturbed a lovely quiet place to stay. All in all @ £68 per room including breakfast our view is that this represents good value for money.

very clean room; + decent sink and shower water pressure; + comfy bed; + walking distance to the Rosslare Europort.
pretty compact room, although, in its defence, it did have three beds (a double and a single), so it can accommodate three people, if needed; - poor lighting - low light output from the ceiling light; very dim; - fixed shower head.

A very pleasant stay. The property is lovely and the room was delightful - spotless warm and comfy. Margaret the owner/host, is welcoming and attentive and does the best breakfast ever. She is also full of local knowledge and will tell all the places of interest.
Nothing - other than our stay wasn`t long evough.

The Owner kindly stayed up to receive me (late arriving). Very comfy room, lots of extra bits, tissues n wipes in the bathroom, and chocolate snacks included with the tea/coffee Tray.
That I got so little time to enjoy it, arriving late, and heading for the Ferry early in the morning. Didn’t get to stay for breakfast which was only about €7.

Margaret and Martin were great hosts and the accommodation was excellent. Very convenient for catching the ferry and close to good pubs for food and Guinness! Lovely large room with an excellent en suite. Large and safe off road parking. All was perfect, highly recommended.

First appearance is it’s just like the photo which is a good impression! Margret meet us and showed us our room which was lovely, big bathroom with good quality shower gel, shampoo and conditioner. Our room faced the back garden which was beautifully tidy. Had a great night’s sleep and then the breakfast… amazing! So much choice, all freshly cooked. We only stayed the one night as we had just got off the boat, tried to book it for the return journey two weeks later but it had gone! So, don’t just think about it, do it!
Nothing!

Margaret, the owner made us feel very welcome from the moment we arrived. The property was easy to find even in the most appalling weather, in which we arrived. the property was very clean and tidy as was the garden. The food was excellent and there was a range of foods to choose from. We stayed here when we arrived and when we left. We will stay here again next year when we are over in Ireland
There was nothing to dislike.

Good comfortable, clean well-equipped room. Kit kats chocolate bar by the bedside.
The owner appears to consider guests as an upset in her day. Polite and effective but not really someone who gets the bigger picture of providing an enjoyable experience versus providing a bed for the night.
