One of the most comfortable and homely hotel stays I’ve had in Switzerland. The owners Sam and Sunny were extremely friendly and helpful, sharing tips around the area with things to do, and also provided us with a flask of hot water every night of our stay upon request, which was ready for us by the time we got back after our day out. The rooms were great and comfortable with beautiful views. I would highly recommend hotel rheinfall for a stay in Neuhaussen. The room I stayed in had a small bathroom which may not be enough for some as it includes the toilet and shower, but the room had a beautiful view to compensate. The hotel is walking distance to many stores and restaurants of varying cuisines, and most importantly it is just a five minute walk to the rheinfalls which was super convenient that we even visited the falls at night. Definitely recommend staying here whether solo traveller or traveling with friends and family

As the name implies Neuhausen is not an old town and this hotel is a modern medium-rise block. But the room was large and pleasant, everything worked and the view was nice too. There is a cosy bar, not much used while we were there. The Manager and staff were charming and helpful. In common with most visitors our reason for staying was the proximity of the Rheinfall which is a short walk away and very enjoyable. The manager recommended revisiting the falls after dark and he was right - hardly anyone there and by the light of just a few spotlights very evocative.

Partly the location and perhaps enhanced by the Easter period and lack of local alternatives I still thought the hotel a little overpriced for the facilities.

This is a very simple hotel, so don’t expect too much. But it is functional, it is clean, everything is working, and once it didn’t (lamp bulb needed to be changed) they fixed it the same day. There’s even extras - good variety for breakfast with eggs etc, good coffee, and they even bake their own bread, so warm croissants and whole grain buns each morning ! THe hosts are very nice and really make the effort to make it a pleasant stay

Staff is very friendly and knowledgeable. They are also busy in improving the facilities and go the next mile to make your stay great.

If part of the communal areas are being refurbished, the rooms are still a bit old (but very very clean). They are busy with renovation and we have fu confidence that with their capabilities it will turn out just nice! A reason to go back :)

best value for money you can find in Neuhausen. Practical functional hotel - nothing fancy and all you need for a short stay. Excellent breakfast with warm bread. Family run - very friendly and helpful. I asked whether they have an orange for breakfast - few minutes later I realised that the host has come from the store with the bag of oranges!

Friendly behavior and interaction of staffs. Reception easily accessible via phone. Good location close to the bus stop as well as the train station. Near to Rheinfalls, needs a 10-minute walk.

We got stuck in the elevator, but the staff could fix the problem. The entrance is a bit strange, and not similar to a hotel! but finally, we found it.

The warm welcome and helpfulness of the staff. They went above and beyond in kindness to make our stay comfortable and enjoyable. In addition, as we had a very early start in the morning, they even prepared breakfast bags for us all and opened up the breakfast room so we could enjoy at hot drink before departing. Thank you.

The decoration in the hotel rooms is a little dated.

The hotel is well located on a bus line that goes into Schaffhausen. They are very near 2 train stations. The staff are very friendly, helpful, and responsive. The breakfast has a range of options. The room was basic and very clean.

Convenient location a few minutes walk from both Neuhausen and Neuhausen am Rheinfall stations. Trolley bus stops outside hotel for even easier access to Schaffhausen. Hotel relatively quiet and we were kindly upgraded from singles rooms to doubles. Good breakfast.

The hotel is located just a few minutes walk from two train stations and the elevator that goes down to the Rheinfall - it couldn't be better. It was quiet, the rooms were very clean, and the staff was friendly, helpful, and went out of their way to make sure we were comfortable. It's a simple hotel, no frills, but you cannot find a better deal if you want to be near the Rheinfall.

I wouldn't call this a complaint, because it is the way it is, but the bathrooms are very small - at least on the floor we were on. I would recommend staying on the highest floor you can, because if people are smoking outside (totally out of the hotel's control) you may not want to open the window.
