Excellent location in an area that is quiet yet right next to the U1/U7 metro, the Löwenbräukeller beer hall, a Penny market, the 20/21 tram... Even the Hauptbahnhof (Munich Central Station) is not too difficult to reach by foot. Comfortable and convenient review all around. Good bathroom with all the required amenities and plenty of space. Room is pleasant overall, no issues or weaknesses really. Evelator present in the building for those that need it.
Very minor things: the shower does not have a closeable door, only a half-door. The window blinds are operated by mechanism for some reason. Cleaning crew keeps coming back even if you tell them that there is no need/there's no way to place a sign on the door that cleaning is/is not required.

i liked that it is close to the station, just either 1 metro stop or 15min walk (we walked). you can have access to coffee and tea 24/7, which is really nice, especially in october coming home and having the option for a cup of tea. room size was ok and you have enough space to store you lugge and clothes. breakfast was small in terms of space but you had a very nice viraty of food. bed was comofortable but the size of the pillows was very small...
for breakfast there was no lactosefree options presented... which is think in todays world it is a must at least milk and cheese. there is no fridge in the room which for this price and this type of hotels it is a must. we stayed in room 501 which was the highest floow, but above us or right next to us there is a school of some sorts and chairs and table were pulled even late evening... sometimes even during 1am at night... so not sure if this noise is present in all rooms but for us it was not too pleasent, the hotel did not mention anything about this in advance

Easy to reach, the Elaya is in a district close to the main railway station. Because we were only in transit we failed to see much of the surroundings, but we took a stroll and marvelled at the huge brass kettles of the Löwenbräu brewery across the street - very instagrammable, if you are out for nice pictures. Even though we arrived close to 23.00 and everything nearby was closed, we managed to get a decent pinsa right at the hotel. And kudos for the receptionist, who printed out our train tickets for the next morning long after midnight (I even woke the poor guy up). The room itself was small but comfy and clean. The pillow spray was a nice touch.
Rooms are not fitted with coffee machines, but that is to be expected at these hotels catering - in my opinion- especially for young crowds. But there was free coffee & tea, and of an excellent quality, in the lobby.

The location was wonderful!!!! The hotel is situated on a small silent street 2 minutes’ walk from the metro station that enables us to reach everywhere we want. The breakfast was very good with several different choices. It was tasty and rich. Our double room was very comfortable and clean. A special thanks to the personnel. A Russian speaking girl on the reception was so pretty and helped us a lot!!!! Many thanks for the lady from the kitchen that prepared us a take away breakfasts at the morning we left earlier to the airport! Thank you for making our vacation unforgettable!!!

The staff was great, very attentive, kind and always ready to assist. The location was amazing too - not far from the main station thus traveling from and to airport as well as to every part of the city was extremely easy. On some days, when we wanted to see more of the city, we went everywhere on foot since the hotel is quite close to the old town. It was a quiet, calm and safe neighbourhood and nothing like the surroundings very close to the main station. The breakfast was to everyone's taste and we liked it a lot, from warm meals to mueslis, pastries and a wide range of cheese - the breakfast buffet was great. And the coffee machine accessible 24/7 was a huge bonus for us. When coming back to Munich, we'd be happy to stay here again.
The only thing that could have been better was the wifi connection which was being disturbed quite often and the tv kept loosing connection because of that too. Other than that, it was a very pleasant stay.

It was very nice, modern and comfortable. Access to the Munich underground transportation system was less than a block away and also very close to City Center. The included breakfast had a surprisingly wide variety of options including sashimi salmon. I also found the WiFi to be very good. But it was the staff that made our stay there a most pleasant experience. Every one of them immediately stopped what they were doing when I needed something and tended to my request. Daniela spent more than just a few minutes explaining to me the public transportation system in Munich when her work day was apparently over and she was getting ready to leave for home. Sasha (who speaks 5 languages!) was particularly sweet and helpful as I had quite a few after hours requests.

This is a superb city hotel, only 3 metro stations from the city center, with its underground garage, which we found very useful because we were there during the snow storm and you don´t want to have your car outside during something like this. Rooms were small but fully functional with spacious bathrooms (perfect water pressure even on a higher floor). Our rooms faced the inner courtyard and were very quiet. Breakfast is superb (smoked salmon included) and you can have coffee/tea/hot chocolate anytime during the day, which is a very nice touch.
Beds were not the widest ones, but that is just a personal preference.

Staff were really friendly and welcoming would speak to you and offer recommendations. Room had everything you needed and was a fair price, location was fine not too far from the centre of Munich. Coffee machine was really high quality and they had a good stock of beers/drinks too! I felt safe there and the surrounding location was good near the tram and a nice beer house :)
Sheets weren't the most clean the second evening (not terribly dirty) and I didn't need my room cleaning!

The breakfast was copious and of high quality. Although the hotel if 30 minutes' walk from the city centre, the museum area is slightly closer and the tram & U-Bahn connections are good. There are also 2 different but excellent restaurants within 5 minutes' walk: the Löwenbräu beer cellar & garden and Da Rosario (Italian). The staff were all very friendly and helpful.
The grouting between the tiles at the bottom of the shower could be cleaner. Although there was a machine selling drinks, it was a shame that there was no bar.

Wonderful location, especially if you need to go to Messe, change between U lines is super easy. Room was nice, I would expect free water everyday, but it was served only for one time. Breakfast was satisfying. Room was extremely clean, I could walk with bare feet (normally I dont). Free coffee/tea 24/7 that was perfect. Staff was friendly.
Room did not have a proper desk. I did not have to work so it wasnt a matter for me, but for people who wants to work in the room will be disappointed. Air condition wasnt heating although it worked, maybe that was my inability, and I was lazy to ask help from staff
