Lovely quiet location. Even though the facilities were above a pub, it was closed each time we returned late evening so we weren't disturbed by crowd noise etc. Bed linen was beautifully soft and very clean. Shower was powerful and hot. Host and staff were wonderful and engaging. Plenty of parking available. Food was exceptionally well cooked - breakfast, cooked by the host Sean, was particularly tasty. Special mention to Martin who made coffee exactly as requested.

Bed mattresses and pillows were budget quality. Had to cart suitcases up and down an exterior winding metal staircase and no-one offered to assist. Not sure what they could do about the shower door - a narrow squeeze to get in and out. Exceptionally hot weather made the (presumed) South-facing room hot and stuffy, but an electric fan was provided. Would benefit from a few more coat hangers - four between two of us just not enough. No-one responded to questions asked via Booking.com prior to occupation so had to call instead - discussed with host who was unaware of this dilemma and am sure will ensure it doesn't happen in the future. None of this is enough to prevent us booking this facility again.

Under the new management of Sean, who supported by his staff, was superb and we are confident he will overcome some minor teething issues & turn this fantastic venue into an outstanding place to stay - the food (we had cottage pie & 'meat-free' burger) was superb - thank you

Having just returned from a five night stay at the Three Bishops Inn, we can't recommend this place highly enough. Stacey and her team were so welcoming, nothing was ever too much to ask, and the atmosphere was lovely. Our rooms were very clean and tidy, and the bed so comfortable, more so after long days at the I.O.W festival. We enjoyed a good selection of breakfast every morning to set us up for the day, and on the one occasion we did eat dinner in the restaurant, we were pleased with the variety on offer, and the food itself was great. We are already looking forward to our visit again next year. Great value for money in a lovely little village. Stu, June, Mark and Lisa

Lovely village location, situated in a pub so had the food, entertainment, garden, staff to assist, landlady was so kind and friendly the next morning. I think I was the only guest and she took the time to chat with me about my hike and give me advice

It was very busy that evening in the pub so unfortunately my food took a long time to arrive. Also my room was not ready when I got there (or they gave me the wrong keys initially) - it was all rectified quickly though and my room was lovely. The WiFi was not very good in my room, which was in the pub garden but there was data signal and WiFi in the pub itself.

A lot. Rooms were nicely decorated, shower was great, bed was comfortable. Staff friendly and helpful. Food in bar/restaurant was excellent. The village is very picturesque and within walking distance to beach. I will definitely stay again.

Stayed in 2 different rooms, the 2nd room was a bit tight on space and being above the bar quite noisy in the evening if you want an early night, although to be expected staying in a pub.

Stacey is very friendly and open and she made us feel right at home. The room was clean and comfortable, with a view of the sea in the distance, and the pub has a welcoming atmosphere. Breakfast was great; the staff are laid back and friendly and the location, in a village on the more rural side of the island, is a great base for exploring the whole island. We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to others.

Nothing to dislike.

the room was lovely and clean. comfortable bed. tea making facilities were good. low ceiling in one area but you get used to that after a couple of bumps! the room was compact, no wardrobe, but there was a rail and a shelf. only stayed one night so the lack of storage was not an issue. the restaurant served very nice food, great choice, and the staff were very pleasant.

maybe more tea making supplies. as we ran out of milk after the first 2 cups.

Staff friendly, rooms very comfortable and good quality linen, pub meals very good and fair prices.

Breakfast arrangements were tricky, we needed to be walking again by 9am the next day, breakfast which was included in the price we'd paid, wasn't due to be served until 9.30am! which is rather late for anyone with plans, so we said we'd have to miss breakfast, however on rising at 8am and about to go to the village shop for provisions, we were then informed our breakfasts were ready! it seemed to us that perhaps breakfast times were dependent on staff availability, hopefully this can be sorted, because the breakfasts we were served were good.

I had a wonderful stay at the 3 Bishops. The staff were friendly and attentive, the rooms were clean and comfortable, and the amenities exceeded my expectations. The location was perfect, and I appreciated the peaceful atmosphere. Overall, it was a relaxing and enjoyable experience. Highly recommended!

Location was perfect for our needs. When we arrived the staff were very kinds and had the room ready early as we had a wedding to change for. One of the rooms sadly stank of cigarettes as someone had smoked in the room the previous night. Not pleasant. When we came for breakfast there were no staff to be seen. Eventually someone did appear and was very pleasant. Breakfast was very good.

Didn’t like the smelly bedroom nor the fact that noone was there in the morning to greet us for breakfast. Just a little disorganised but very pleasant staff.
