Great location - right on beach front Really enjoyed sitting out the front and watching the sunrise over the gorgeous sandy beach Super friendly staff - Slightly quirky and felt splendidly like stepping back in Time to a good old fashioned seaside resort !, Great value for money , Clean and comfy - - only a one night stay as here for work - would happily come back Thank you so much !

We didn't get a chance to have breakfast as we had to leave by 8am - Maybe next time

Really, really enjoyed the stay there, Just a couple of small glitches. Sign I bathroom says, "make sure curtain is hanging in shower). Bit of a job for it to stay there as it's only 1/2 inch hanging over the inside!! Skirting board in toilet in the communal area was filthy But 99.9%. of stay was excellent.

The hotel is basic but fab location and always cleaners. Staff were fab . Friendly chatty and helpful Room had all you need. Bed comfy . Location was fab. Couldn’t ask for more Staff so friendly and helpful Good price And so impressed where it was . Thank you for making great time away 🙏 ur all a very friendly bunch n really appreciated it

Hotel is old , but wasn’t filthy just needed updating Lift always broke but old lift so can’t be helped One man said was staff but seemed drunk all time and invaded my space by hand round shoulder n said we would have vodka one day … . ( wonder if he did to elderly ) Chat but don’t do that to guests Can’t say didn’t like going up n down stairs as kept me fit 🤪

Paid the extra to get see view with balcony. Well worth the extra money and recommend The chef in the restaurant was outstanding and great value for the food produced, even made a meal for my pet! Thank you

The car park need resurfacing

Our family suite was on ground floor. Clean room, comfort beds. Our child had room adjacent with clean comfortable bunk beds. Slightly dated decor. But good TV in main bedroom, good shower & clean bathroom.

Limited time for dinner/ breakfast. . But not really an issue as local bars serve meals in evening. . Breakfast after 10am. .

Bit of confusion when I turned up however I think he's name was Gary the manager who lives there sorted it within minutes very polite and professional cheers mate clean and comfortable bed and room red hot shower view out to sea all round pretty good for 50 quid well worth it

Booked as a base whilst visiting friends for the weekend. Was good value for money. Colud do with some TLC but then would expect the prices to be a lot higher; with the amazing sea views. We were able to watch the sunrise from our bed. Staff were very friendly. Did not use any of the hotel facilities, but sounded like everyone was enjoying the entertainment provided in the evenings. Beautiful walk along the beach if you walk to the right.

Shower pressure was poor and non-existent when another room was using their shower.

The receptionist Ashleigh was just so incredibly helpful and really made the stay a delight. Both at reception and later on in the bar. Its people like these that either make or break a place. OK so the Shanklin Beach Hotel is not a 5 star hotel. It is however a top 3 star, and in my eyes with a little updating could be even better. The views from the rooms at the front look out over the bay and are a really good size. Honestly for the money you'll be pushed to find better.

The shower was a bit like a limbo for me (as I am way too big these days) and there was a bit of mold in there
