Our recent stay at Haven Riviera Cancun was nothing short of perfect—and while the resort itself is stunning, it was the amazing team who truly made it unforgettable. From the moment we arrived, **Memo** greeted us with warmth and enthusiasm, personally escorting us to our room and making us feel instantly welcomed and relaxed. Throughout our stay, **Abel** and **Ana** were ever-present—gracious, attentive, and always anticipating our needs. Their genuine care and personal attention made us feel exceptionally valued. A special thank you to **Valentina**, who helped coordinate all our reservations flawlessly. From dining to special requests, she ensured every detail was handled with ease and professionalism. And to the rest of the team—**Alan**, **Carlos**, **Elias**and everyone we encountered in the restaurants and bars—thank you for your kindness, exceptional service, and the way you always greeted us with a smile. The food, the views, the ambiance—all were incredible. But it’s the people that made Haven Riviera feel like a true escape. We left already dreaming of our return.

The food was amazing and the facilities were even better. We were a little cautious of booking an all inclusive however this hotel is fantastic!! The staff were always accommodating and friendly. The rooms were very comfy.

The property is beautiful and the staff are incredibly attentive and helpful. We liked how close it was to the airport, the grounds and the room were all really lovely.

Overall we really enjoyed our stay however we would've loved more activities that are more convenient to the resort. Most of the activities offered by the reps on-site required a 6am or 7am departure and took most of the day because there were several activities. We would've preferred options like a simple snorkeling excursion or more activities on the property not revolving around the bar or the spa. The food was just ok overall, which we somewhat anticipated.

It was an enjoyable trip for us. The place is clean, it wasn't so busy when we went. Very relaxing environment. The beach area is nice. We may try the "Serenity" side of the property next time lol

In our experience there was nothing to dislike other than our room, it had this excessive smell of mold and humidity. It was super strong to the point we had to keep the balcony doors open ventilating during the day to be able to sleep. We identified that was not limited to the room we were in, but the area in general (hallway and other rooms - when doors were open by the cleaning staff we could smell the same odor). It affected my health by the end of our stay, so to avoid my mistake, ask to change rooms if you end up in the locality.

I liked that the property was not in the heart of town. Everything you need is in the location

The Restaurants were not great with the food. The Italian was certainly the worst. The food seemed like it was frozen and defrosted. Even pizza was not good.

There was a major problem with the sea weed which was not a fault of the resort but it did mean we could not use the beach or swim in the sea.

Serenity was worth the upgrade for the ability to have a quiet morning by the pool with food service to the loungers and better view from the room and premium liquors. Serenity breakfast was great for when we weren’t lazy enough to go down to, but if we were, the 24/7 room service was top notch too. When we wanted to go to the more lively part of the resort, we could and enjoy the games and events during the day. Food was very important to this group and didn’t want the typical resort slop, however at Haven it was amazing both at the buffet and restaurants which were all free of charge apart from the premium wines. Food rotated regularly so it’s not the same thing everyday. Rooms were cleaned everyday and towels topped up and other amenities to once they run low. Never felt like I needed something as they had everything there. The resort was very accommodating and let us do literally anything. Staff did their best to clean the seaweed from the beach using tractors but the area that this resort sits doesn’t have the best water or beachfront. However the sand was still great.

Butler was a bit flakey, although sorted us out with bookings, didn’t see as available as they should have been.

Very impressed with the facilities as a whole. The room was very spacious with a nice sun facing balcony. It was a shame that we had workmen outside our room in the morning plastering the roof, but that didn't necessarily get in the way.

On the night we arrived (April 9th) we went to the bar by the pool where they had a "musician" playing the keyboard and "singing" songs. The singer had by far the worst singing voice I have ever heard and was being laughed at by the guests. I know I am being mean writing this, but this guy was a laughing stock and should not have been performing at a 5 star resort and seeing him being laughed at was even more uncomfortable than the singing. I have got a recording of the singing if anyone needs proof. It is also a shame that what is deemed the better restaurants in the hotel requires significant advanced booking.

We LOVED this resort! The pools were wonderful, the beach was relaxing and the workers were fantastic. The food was the BEST food we have had at an “all-inclusive” in a long time. Plus the daily activities such as bingo, DJs, and nightly shows were very fun.

The only complaint we had was that you can’t book reservations at the 6 restaurants until check-in. For people going for a long trip, it’s not a big deal. But for us only going for a few days, by the time we checked in, the only available reservations were at 9 PM, which was a bummer.

There was no free shuttle to airport which really disappointed us as this hotel is a 5star hotel.
