Quiet and peaceful, good location, closer to shopping centre

The last room we moved to, the shower floor was sleepery, please clean it for the safety of guests. We were moved to three rooms since our stay, we arrived late night and need to move again because of air con problems, that time we were tired due to our flight arrival late night so we need a rest, unfortunately we got moved again in the last week due to the same problem. It’s not a good experience, we need to pack n unpack everything The carpet of the hallway does not smell good.

Location was good for most of the weekend as a wedding was in wallan and the reception in Epping. It was a pain getting to and from the city for the footy though. There were multiple people from the wedding staying at Mantra Epping and we wished the bar was still open at or after midnight when the wedding was over. A lot of money lost not going over the bar.

Needed the bar to be open later, or at least have the option to book the bar at a certain time so there’s no wasted staff hours. I didn’t like how there was no instant coffee and mugs provided, even for cheaper single rooms when a kettle is already provided, not sure what else it’s used for if not for coffee. At least provide a complementary coffee each morning from downstairs kitchen. That coffee was nice but $6 is too much for paying guests.

I had a pleasant stay at Mantra Epping. The room was clean and tidy, and the shower facilities were also well-maintained and comfortable. The hotel’s location was very convenient, just a few minutes away from the venue we were attending. While most aspects of the stay were positive, I did find that a few staff members came across as a bit unwelcoming—not rude, but perhaps lacking the warmth that can really enhance a guest’s experience. A friendly smile goes a long way. Overall, it was a good hotel, though I’m a little unsure if it offered the best value for the price.

Room was comfortable

Check in…. we didn’t have a physical payment card on us, so we were initially unable to stay the night and were turned away, We ended up finding a photo of a card and could use this (it could have been someone elses card but anyway. We find it hard to believe that you accept digital id and pay the car parking using an online platform but you cannot use digital payment. It was disappointing and the fact that we were turned away was disrespectful and extremely unprofessional

Room and toilet were very clean and tidy. View from the room was good.Staff were very friendly and helpful.

1. A small sized microwave oven should have been provided to heat milk and tea/ coffee. It costs only about$ 150.00 2. Saucers for tea cups and plates and side plates should have ben provided.. Since the hotel is away from shopping centre we got down take way food and there were no utensils provided to place the food items.. They are a must and costs between $1.00 to $ 2.00. In the coffee house more vegetarian items should have been included in the break fast. I being a vegetarian expected more vegetarian items. a shuttle service to the nearest shopping centre will make the hotel guests happy.

We had a very comfortable room with a separate sitting area and balcony. Although we didn’t need it this trip, there was a small kitchen equipped with all the basics. Having the extra living space was very good when getting ready for an event. The buffet breakfast was very good and in a bright and pleasant dining room. Whilst a bit out of town, it is conveniently located to the airport.

We were attending a wedding in the area so it was well located for our purpose, but it is quite a distance from the city or other areas of interest.

Room was very comfortable and clean, no wear or tear on anything at all. Staff were just lovely. I have recently stayed at other very similar hotels in Melbourne and this one was very nice and felt more luxurious for the same price range. Will definitely come back. Close to large shopping complex with so many great stores too. Foxtel was a nice surprise too.

More appropriate lighting near the mirrors for applying make up would be heaven.

Room was clean and cleaning staff were efficient and friendly. Front desk staff were helpful. The coffee machine in the foyer is a great idea however was not manned in the afternoon which was a bit disappointing. Location or the hotel was central for our stay. Would definitely stay here again.

Pillows were a bit sub par… lumpy and too soft lighting above the full length mirror in the rooms would have been good

Room and facilities were clean

As a single traveller I had emailed beforehand about having 1 bed, I asked the staff to have one bed instead of a twin at check in, didn’t give me an answer. I went to my room and it was a twin. I went downstairs to then pay for an upgraded room and they told me it was the same price to upgrade. It wasn’t a big deal just frustrating

Very clean, good maintenance. Efficient and reliable. Good space for my solo trip!

Can’t complain, nothing bad to say. Maybe good to stock sanitary back up options for woman as this is a necessity for life for woman and should be provided at all public facilities. I had to walk to the Servo but would be good for staff to have on hand like they would Gogh paste.
