The staff were all helpful, friendly and polite. The room had a lovely Seaview, as requested and the room and bathroom facilities were both clean and comfortable. It was conveniently situated for the beach and attractions.

Breakfast was a little disappointing. We were expecting more of a choice of pastries. We were given one croissant each, which doesn't constitute a 'continental breakfast' as far as I'm concerned.

location of hotel is great. right on the promenade and short walk away from the bronze statue Eric morecambe. plenty places to sit around hotel and has 2 bars. breakfast was plentiful made fresh and was delicious. some parts of the hotel has had investment and you can see it. very modern furnishings and lovely big glass frontage facing the water promenade which will be beautiful in the summer. the staff were extremely nice and couldn't do enough for you. 2 small car parks at the back of building holds about 10 cars. they have some board games dominoes, draughts, connect 4 which came in handy to pass the time since the weather wasn't great.

single window in room 207 had no handle and due to the big storm the window couldn't close over so it was a bit draughty as it kept blowing itself open.

The Location was great, the breakfast was delicious with an excellent choice. the staff were all lovely very professional and attentive.

Room was far too hot, couldn't seem to be able to turn the radiator down in the night, which kept us awake. Sink was in an awkward place too as it was in the main room and not in the bathroom. We didn't use the shower but it seemed roomy enough. Everything in the room tea n coffee, hairdryer was great. Think we could have done with a bigger room. It was a small double so maybe next time.

Everything! It was perfect for what I required! Staff were great!The en-suite room was clean & comfy! Stunning view of beautiful Morecambe Bay from my bedroom window! Close to the beach & Promenade! Centrally based & so very close to all the amenities- pubs, restaurants, shops. -Approx. 5 minutes walk, if that! Buses drop you by the Clock Tower & a very short walking distance to the Hotel! Parking is available across the road opposite the hotel, if none available in the Hotel parking! I would definitely stay here again!

Just a one night stop over after attending the Dave Myers memorial motorcycle Ride to Barrow in Furness. I could not of asked for anything better. The receptionists was a member of the biking family so loaned me a security lock and allowed me and two other bikers to hide our bikes around the back of the hotel. The manager and breakfast staff were the best! Really friendly and helpful. A very pleasant stay. Thank you.

The shower required a bit of patience, but so what? I was in no hurry.

A lovely family run hotel. It is so lovely to have such excellent service. Breakfast brought to you, toast cooling on a rack, tea served in a pot. Proper service, way better than serving yourself. With a view across the bay of the lake district mountains. Everyone smiles, says hello, all staff, other guests. It was the most relaxing stay ever!

excellent hotel. parking. staff extremely helpful and friendly. definitely recommend .bar and entertainment great.outdoor balcony with plenty of seating. excellent choice of cereals etc and exceptional full english cooked breakfast which was served hot.rooms veryyyyy clean and comfy bed and great sea view would definitely recommend the Auckland and hope to return again.

The staff were very friendly and welcoming from the minute we arrived. My wife could drive her mobility scooter straight into the hotel and then straight into our accessible room. The dining room was spacious, the food was good and was served with smile. We only stayed a couple of nights, but we enjoyed them immensely. We will definitely be staying there again.

Staff very friendly, bar area very nice indeed and parking ok opposite the hotel.

The bathroom was a bit tiny yet the room was very spacious. The breakfast was average at best but was served by polite staff as were the bar and reception guys. Not putting on entertainment on a Saturday night was a bit strange and felt sorry for the older folk in the hotel. Bed was advertised and charged as a double - please note that does not mean two single beds pushed together!

Shower as I could not understand how to operate and did not take a bath. As I was using a shower just before my departure I could not seek help from the reception. I did inform reception upon checking out.
