Very nice hotel right on the beach. Staff was friendly, room size was good and location was not too far from all the action in Chaweng.

Two things kind of bothered me: 1. There was no hot water in the shower so we had to take cold showers during out stay. 2. Besides making a photocopy of my passport, they also made a photocopy of my credit card. It doesn't seem normal to me. I've never had a hotel photocopy my credit card. Quite upset about this.

The hotel wants a copy of my Credit Card details. It is illegal to keep CC details according to the law. I would prefer to deposit my money instead of my CC details. If, when I'm checking out and your staff are going to check the rooms why do you need a copy of the CC details? Please review this standard your hotel is holding on to. CC details are sensitive.

We have stayed in the Resotel before, and it was just as good as I remember. The location is excellent, more towards the end of Chaweng beach. It is much quieter and very relaxing. You can walk to restaurants and shops. Swimming is good in the ocean. We stayed in oceanfront pool villa. The room is spacious and very clean. The room has its own private pool. The bathroom is spacious and enough toiletries provided. Nespresso machine is a nice touch. Breakfast was enough, a bit repetitive, but the selection covers all tastes, and everything filled up regularly. The staff are always friendly and helpful. We rented motorbikes, and there is parking provided in front of the hotel. There is also a library, with lots of books, plus a room with a pool table. The fitness centre is not very large, but adequately equipped. I will definitely return to the Resotel on my next visit to Koh Samui.

Be aware that breakage deposit of 2000 BHT are to be paid in cash on check in, not by credit card. There is fortunately an atm close by, and also a currency exchange booth a few steps away from the hotel. The floor area around the pool villa is very slippery. Be careful when getting out of the pool.

Want an honest advice? Look no further, book a villa with pool at this hotel (the ones on the right are more private, very very very good for the price) and you will not regret. Best part of Chaweng Beach to relax (is incredible how this part of the beach has barely nobody), very friendly staff, breakfast is enough, rent a bike behind the hotel and have fun exploring Koh Samui.

We didn't eat or drink at the hotel's restaurant, no suggestion about that. Be aware with the smart-asses going to the beach at 8 am, putting their towels marking the bed for the whole day eheh

We have a budget , there are fancier hotels along the beach that are more expensive. We chose this hotel hoping we’d get the best value for our money. We got it spot on . 2 nd floor sea view room , with large balcony was amazing , spacious & a lovely sea view . The pool with swim up bar was nice , though we spent most of our time on the provided sunbeds on the beach . The breakfast was superb, you could sit inside or out with a view of the sea . There was so much choice , we never ate again until evening . I had a Thai curry most days as part of the breakfast . We also had happy hour cocktails and dinner one evening. The food was probably the best we had in Samui . We had a sudden downpour and the helpful staff quickly carried our table inside . The rain had stopped by the time we sat down . The hotel is in a quiet location at the southern ( nicest ) end of Chewang . But only to minutes outside the hotel and the bars and restaurants start or a 30 min slow stroll along the beach to the centre of Chewang .

Location: at the quiet end of Chaweng Beach. Lovely clean sandy beach with sandy clear sea. Always have Sun loungers available on the beach. Able to order food & drinks when on the beach. Happy hours every day from hotel pool. Near to a great restaurant: turn left outside hotel & 5mins walk away. Clean Beach towels provided daily. Rooms: very clean, air con worked well, armchairs & clothes airer on balcony, cleaned daily, kettle point, tea, coffee, 2 bottles drinking water provided daily. Variety of breakfast OK but the Thai cooked options were not good. An omelette station was available. Went with daughter & son-in-law: originally unable to book rooms in same building. On arrival, was upgraded to a partial sea view room in same building FOC! All hotel staff were helpful & polite.

Only comment breakfast: Thai cooked options were not tasty. Very watery. Noodle station only used cooked chicken every day cut into very thick slices.

The layout was lovely, very nice pool area. Right on the beachfront with easy access to swimming beach. Located at the quieter end of the beach but a pleasant walk along to the busier end. Easy walk along the road to 7 eleven, other stores and restaurants. Breakfast was delightful with a huge selection of options. Easy to book transport from/to the airport.

The location is excellent, the view from the ocean pool view is breathtaking. The room service menu was great (+ you can request items from the restaurant). The mango sticky rice was our favorite in all of Samui.

Wish the pool was temperature controlled, we booked a villa with a pool for 3 weeks and were only able to use the pool 1 time for half an hour. If you're visiting in December, keep that in mind when booking a pool villa.

Amazing room with pool access. Good breakfast selection and having a little private part of the beach was great. Away from the madness of Chaweng but if you rent a scooter, you’ll be down there in 5 mins.

A lot of screaming kids - would advise couples pay a little extra for one of the private villas with their own pools or the beach front villas!

Beautiful clean and comfortable resort, rooms are a great size. Staff were very helpful. We were a group of 3 travellers and got rooms adjoining - we had also booked deluxe double rooms with pool access - absolutely superb! The main pool was lovely, we also used it heaps, but a bit disappointed that the main pool closes early, noting the intense heat in Koh Samui. Whilst there is the beach, its too dark at night. Swim up bar was okay, but we have experienced better. Walking distance to many shops and restaurants, and numerous taxis readily available to take you further. Would definitely stay again, as its located on a nice part of Chaweng Beach.
