We had an extraordinary experience at this property. Antonio and his family go above and beyond to make every guest feel welcome, truly some of the kindest and most attentive hosts we’ve ever met. The rooms are spotless and beautifully decorated, with a breathtaking view from the balcony that has stayed with me long after our return. It’s been a week since we got back, and I still fall asleep picturing that stunning Ravello View. The property is perfectly located — high above the hustle and bustle of Amalfi, in a peaceful area, just a short drive from the magical town of Ravello. Breakfast was fresh and delicious every morning, and dinner was simply incredible — the best Parmigiana I’ve ever tasted, made from fresh ingredients from their own garden. The pool was also impeccably clean and a joy to relax by. In short: go to Ravello View. You won’t regret it. I’d go back tomorrow if I could!

We had a wonderful stay at Ravello View. Our room was comfortable and spotlessly clean, with stunning views from the balcony over to Ravello. Breakfast each morning on the terrace was delicious - fruits, cereals, a range of fresh cakes, eggs, good coffee. Antonio and his family were very welcoming, helpful with directions and tips and nothing felt like too much trouble. We also had dinner at the hotel on a couple of nights and everything we ate was delicious. We managed to get quite a bit of sightseeing done (Pompeii, Ravello, Amalfi, Positano), using a combination of our rented car and public transport. Scala is very quiet compared to other towns we visited, but this suited us.

The pool (although spotlessly clean with beautiful views!) isn’t heated, it was refreshingly cool on warm days but cold on the days that were a bit overcast - we stayed at the end of September.

During our stay, we experienced a true piece of paradise. The tranquility and kindness of Antonio and his lovely family made our time exceptional. The location was very convenient, as it was close to everything, including the bus station, pharmacy, restaurants, and grocery stores. The accommodations were clean, modern, and quiet, and everything was well organized. Breakfast was unparalleled, being both delicious and beautifully presented. My daughter and I spent two weeks at Ravello View, and throughout our stay, we were surrounded by the warmth of the family and the beauty of the surrounding nature. Our 4-night stay in September 2025 exceeded our expectations. The views and service were outstanding. The breakfast was exceptional - so much choice of homemade cakes and treats, fresh fruit and prosciutto. Coffee made to order, and it was the most beautiful terrace to be served breakfast. The pool with a view was spotlessly clean and perfect for a swim before heading out to explore the area each day. We loved our hotel room too. Antonio delivered us a carafe of local red wine each evening to enjoy on our terrace. Perfect. We loved the peacefulness of Scala compared to being on the coast.

Everything was perfect for us. If you are not an avid walker, you may find the location unsuitable as the hotel is on an incline from the bus stop - about 500 metres away. Not steep but it is long.

We stayed here for 7 nights on our little honeymoon. The accommodation was out of this world. Everything is incredible clean, the pool, the rooms, terrace and balcony. They are cleaning and changing your towels everyday, no exceptions. Antonio, his dad and everyone there is very responsive and polite. Also the lady who serves the breakfast every morning is very nice. The breakfast is very good, various and you also have fresh fruits and different cakes made by Antonio’s mother. The homemade focaccia is amazing! The pool is also very nice and clean and the view is breathtaking! This seems like a little heaven on the Amalfi coast. Also is nice to retreat here where is quiet after a crowded day in Amalfi or Positano. We had an amazing time at Ravello View and we can’t wait to come back! ❤️

Antonio made our stay so special first and foremost. From there it was the pool, the decor, the cleanliness, the breakfast, the family feel and of course, the location. This was our favourite accommodation in all of Italy. The whole family went above and beyond to make our stay special. The room was gorgeous, the terrace was perfect for sitting out on in the evenings and you just can’t explain the pure beauty of the valley. We also ate at the restaurant and that was, of course, delicious!! Waking up to the smell of hot breakfast bread and cakes was unbeatable!

Loved the location and the views. The room was very comfortable, clean and functional. The food was exceptional in a setting that is heavenly. And the staff... Well the staff was the best part. They are a family business and what can I say, but they are extremely knowledgeable about what tourists may need and extremely helpful in achieving the best holiday ever! They helped us hire a mo-ped for our tour. Suggested fantastic places to eat what to visit and see... Everything. And they were extremely helpful with gluten free needs baking gluten free cakes just for me!!!! So thank you. You are the best!!!

We recently stayed at Ravello View in Scala for three nights, and the experience truly lived up to its name. From both our room and the dining terrace, as well as the pool area across the street, Ravello appeared before us like a painting on the wall—absolutely breathtaking. For those wanting to explore the Amalfi Coast, the location is perfect: within 20 minutes you can reach Amalfi by bus, and from there easily catch a ferry to Salerno or beyond. This way you can enjoy all the beauty of the coastline without being surrounded by the constant crowds. We were warmly welcomed by Antonio and his family, who made us feel at home from the very first moment. The rooms are exactly as shown on the website—spotless, beautifully maintained, and thoughtfully prepared. Pool towels are provided, which is a great touch, and the breakfast is simply outstanding: fresh-baked bread and cakes by Antonio’s mother, alongside fresh fruit juices with no added sugar. Lunch and dinner were equally delicious, all home-cooked with love by Antonio’s wife and mother. This stay truly deserves the highest praise. The combination of warm hospitality, authentic food, stunning views, and the charming, picturesque surroundings make Ravello View a place we would wholeheartedly recommend to anyone visiting the Amalfi Coast.

Beautiful family run hotel in Scala with spectacular views of Ravello. Antonio and his family work so hard to make their guests feel welcome. The homemade cakes for breakfast were delicious. We also ate there in the evening 4 times during our 6 day stay All the delicious food was homemade by Antonio's wife and mother. Our room was cleaned every day whilst we were out Nothing was too much trouble. We were given lots of advice about the area. The area around the hotel is so peaceful and quiet. It was a welcome break from the noise on the coast. We have already recommended Ravello View to several friends and relatives. It's also VERY good value for money.
