Not sure why this hotel is only 3 stars. I would rate it at least 4 stars. It was a very good stay in central Ankara, close to transport and major city centre attractions. Staff were very friendly even though they spoke very limited English and the breakfast spread was a welcome surprise - something for everyone really! The room was full featured with everything working, and great Grohe tap and showerware to ensure a comfortable experience. I'd stay there again without thinking twice!

All the staff are exceptionally friendly and helpful. No request to big. Always greeted with a smile. Check in was smooth and fast including when I had to extend my stay by a week. Very competitively priced for the area. Room was a good size for me as a solo traveller with a very comfortable bed. The room is nice and quiet with not a lot of external noise. Restaurant has good food at very good prices. Overall, I was extremely impressed with the hotel. Should I need to return to Ankara, Starton Hotel would be my first choice for accommodation.

The hotel was pretty quiet, the shower in my room was excellent and the staff were lovely and very, very helpful. Nothing was too much trouble for them. For example, on the last day I had to check out before breakfast had started but the man on reception said I could go up and have breakfast anyway.

The walls between the rooms were very thin.

Very Nice and big room, and the location is great, right in the downtown close to many stores and restaurants and to 2 metro stations, all within a short walking distance. The lightning in the room is very cozy and cool. Good breakfast included with the reservation.

Everything was great

The Hotel was surprisingly good for one night stay, as it had been booked at last minute in favor of the convenience of the location. Staff members are polite and willing to help. My room was clean and was prepared for my arrival. The bed and beddings was nice.

The only slight downside is that they do not provide lunchboxes in case of early check-out, so I missed the breakfast here which was included in the price.

The location was amazing, it was right in the center of everything.

You can smell the sewers in the bathroom.

A nice hotel in Ankara. The staff are great, the facilities are good and it really made my stay in Ankara convenient and better.

Location, room size., nobody speaks english so Ankara won't be soon spoiled by tourism (actually this was a torture for some things for me, but blessing for genuinity of this town, so I consider it as positive)

No english channels on TV

The man who booked me in and worked in the afternoon and evening was such a kind lovely man. Very friendly and helpful. Room was great big bed with large TV. Complimentary bathroom items etc. Breakfast was a large selection.

The only thing I would say is no tea coffee making facilities and the TV controller was set at 42. Sounds high but I really could barely hear the TV.
