The hotel is decorated beautifully and so comfortable. The staff were incredibly helpful and polite, organising a taxi for us in to the town. The food in the bar was absolutely stunning. The room was spacious and spotless, the bed was especially comfortable.

The hotel is well outside Wexford town and trying to find a taxi on our second night was very difficult. In the end we drove into town as there were no taxis available. However, this wouldn’t put me off visiting the hotel again. The green emergency light in the bedroom is very bright (which is the point I understand) but it’s right in the corner of the room and shined right over us which interrupted our sleep. Not something that would put me off visiting but I would bring a sleep mask for my next visit!

The rooms were beautiful in terms of space, furniture, and overall decor. The food was delicious, especially breakfast. The leisure centre was lovely and I really liked that they offered my son a loan of goggles as he had forgotten to pack his. The staff in all areas of the hotel were really helpful, friendly and welcoming. We look forward to coming back again.

I would have liked some bottles of water in the bedrooms, A slightly earlier opening time for the leisure centre if you wanted a swim before breakfast. The 9am opening time was a little bit rushed.

The hotel was in the perfect location for our short visit and the staff were extremely helpful in all areas of the hotel and leisure complex. The food in the restaurant was mostly really good to.

The pool area was often filled with children so it was impossible to have a proper swim. That said, and knowing the cost of running these health clubs it is essential nowadays to open them to the public to keep them open. Although the food in the restaurant was mostly excellent, using frozen chips was a real disappointment as they were not pleasant and the garlic bread was microwaved into oblivion. However the negatives in the hotel were outweighed hugely by the pluses. We hope to return.

Clean room. Friendly staff and helpful. Fast enough wifi and easy to use. Great looking restaurant, lobby and hotel with swimming pool. Good food at the restaurant and variety provided. Swimming caps provided, nice swimming pool. Hotel in a quiet area.

The room had a slight smell like it was not properly ventilated. Fixed shower with a bath tub. No additional water brought in the room besides the initial 2 0.5l bottles. Too warm in the room. Room not properly sound insulated, you can hear a shower from nearby room at night. No bathrobes or slippers provided for the swimming pool. Extremely busy restaurant during weekend. Limited breakfast menu. Location, need a car to get to the city center.

The staff are exceptional. Nothing is too much trouble for them. They are polite and very professional but also friendly and welcoming. So much choice for breakfast and cooked to order not left sitting for ages. Menu in the bar has something for everyone. Enjoyed two meals there. The waiter was even able to tell me the origins of 'basil cafe au laite' sauce. Leisure center facilities were great with lovely staff again. Very clean and well kept.

Only one pasta option on the bar menu, not a big problem though. Mirror on the wall in our bedroom was a little high for my short friend!!

Had a really lovely stay with my son for his birthday. The hotel even left a plate with buns and fruit in the room as a treat for his birthday. The staff were all lovely a very friendly. The food was delicious and the menu was out of the this world for choice. Although we didn't need it, I was particularly impressed with the choice for gluten free, vegans and vegetarians.

There were only 2 things of note: one was that we used the pool both days, once in the evening and again the next morning. Both times three quarters of the pool was taken up by children having swimming lessons. This was quite limiting for swimming, especially for my son who is a keen swimmer. The second was the t.v in the room was quite outdated in regards to choice. Very limited channels and no Netflix or anything like it.

When we arrived we were greeted by a lovely receptionist. The hotel was very inviting, clean and comfortable. The room was spacious, clean and comfortable. Breakfast was excellent. Dinner was fantastic and as I am dairy intolerant there were plenty of options. The fact I had a choice of desserts was fabulous. A well thought out menu. The staff couldn't be more helpful in all areas. We would highly recommend this hotel, this was our fourth stay and we will be returning again.

Breakfast lovely and hot and excellent choice available. Bistro very enjoyable and although Sun night ( bank hol.) was very busy, (30 mins delay on our booked table, was understandable) the staff were very professional and pleasant under stress. Room was very lovely and sitting out on balcony ( with blanket supplied) was my all time favourite place to relax. Well done to all.

Very difficult to keep floor dry during shower- dividing wall too short. Condensation on window needed drying off due to poor ventilation - no opening pane. Small fridge in room would be welcome. E- power charger in your car park was extremely slow, only charging 0.6kw per hour and we met several guests that experienced same problem. We did contact E-power to alert them to this problem.

We had a brief but wonderful stay. The hotel is charming and beautifully decorated for Christmas at this time. The interior decor is tasteful and sumptuous with a clever eye for detail, it feels highly personalised unlike many large hotels. Our room was gorgeous with a private balcony which we enjoyed very briefly despite the inclement weather. The hotel was incredibly busy for food service (there’s a reason for this!) and they kindly rang a few days prior to ask if we wanted to book for dinner, which is something we might not ordinarily do. But we arrived to a buzzing hotel with an almost party atmosphere and wonderfully welcoming staff who looked after us with great warmth and cheer even though they had clearly been working flat out for hours. We had delicious gin cocktails at the bar and an excellent and tasty meal from the extensive menu, with live music as an added bonus. Sadly, we had to leave early for the morning ferry but the restaurant was open and ready for a continental breakfast and lashings of fresh hot tea. A takeaway breakfast was also an option. All in all, an uplifting experience which cheered us on the last night of our trip to Ireland. We will be very keen to stop with you on our next visit. Thank you to all the staff who work so hard to deliver such high standards.

We have nothing adverse to say.

The meals and service were first class, both for dinner and breakfast. Breakfast was freshly prepared to our requests. I had the vegeterian breakfast with poached eggs. The staff were especially attentive to our dietary needs especially with my wife's evening meal.

My wife and I had the most perfect two night stay at the Whitford House Hotel. Our room and all common areas were clean and well looked after. The Reception team were polite and helpful at all times. We had no problem in parking during our stay.
