Great location: 5 minutes walk from the Main Street, but far enough away not to be noisy. The rooms were clean and a good size and the shower was huge. The hotel was able to arrange airport transfers. The breakfast menu included 2 gluten free options: sweet pancake (made with rice flour) and healthy breakfast (yoghurt, fruit, granola) but the healthy breakfast was much smaller than any of the other breakfast options and hardly contained any granola. Free water, tea and coffee in the rooms. Our room rate included free entry to a gym, which was excellent. There are classes and kids’ classes included in the price.

The hotel next door was being extended and rubbish was being burned on site, which made our room smell of smoke. When we arrived there was a bottle of wine in the room and 5 cans of soft drinks and 2 beers in the fridge. There was no price list or information folder in the room and as this is not a cheap hotel, we thought they were a welcome package. They weren’t and we were charged for them! As part of the breakfast package you get coffee or tea. Refills are not free, although this is inconsistent so best to check on the day. There are only 10 sunbeds for 32 rooms, but there are bean bags and parasols in the garden area.

+++ we enjoyed our stay in Sikara so much, we will definitely be coming back there! It was clean, comfortable, and the staff was AMAZING! Thanks so much to the whole team! Couple things to improve: - soundproofing the walls. You can literally hear everything from the outside. Good thing we brought earplugs. - food at the restaurant. We were a little disappointed by the quality of the food. We had some snacks by the pool and breakfast maybe couple of times, but it was always missing the taste. - taxi service. DO NOT ORDER FROM THEM. We paid 500k for taxi services from the hotel, when we could’ve taken local taxi for 170k. Price difference is huge, but we thought it will be easier, faster and better quality. When we left the hotel, driver got a call from a hotel, and apparently wrong taxi took us, so we had to change the car. Moreover, the driver was speeding so much, we asked multiple times to slow down, because we didn’t feel safe. Taxi services have nothing to do with the great hotel services we got, but it ruined the whole experience a bit.

It’s my 4 time staying at Sikara. Last year I stayed 3 times, and all the 4 times I had problem with the shower at my room. No pressure and only hot water in the first 3min. This year I asked for fixing and only had fixed on my last day (I stayed 5 days). Me and my boyfriend have a villa and on the first day we told them that was air on the pipes. It’s not a super expensive hotel, but it’s also not cheap and I really expect that they solve this quickly, cause I was having a flu on my 2 day and really needed a hot shower.

Very relaxed hotel close to mainroad (shops, diving schools, surf shops & restaurants in walking distance - 5 to 15min). Good starting point for day-trips. Good breakfast and restaurant (but focus on western food) Good massage with fair prices Helpful staff Scooter rental possible

Restaurant prices are a bit higher compared to outside. Smaller menu for local dishes. Maintenance works where done during our stay. It didn’t bother us a lot and we would still come back. We received a daily voucher as compensation.

Second time booking this suite for our stay here, and it did not disappoint! It's perfect for a group of 3 friends who prefer to have our own rooms. The staff are very friendly and helpful with our questions, and with helping us manage transport around Lombok as we did not ride scooters. There was some construction going on when we stayed but it wasn't too noisy nor dusty.

Breakfast provided was decent but could be better, still thankful they open pretty early so we can get some food in before heading out for a surf in the morning!

I stayed at Sikara for 5 nights, and I decided to extended my stay for one more - that’s how much I liked the place. The location is perfect- 5 min by foot to the Main Street , 7min walk to mana yoga where I like having classes and eat. The staff was also very friendly and helpful. They offered me a free shuttle to a hospital when I hurt my foot and a pair of crutches to use while I couldn’t walk well.

I wish I could use the swimming pool after 8pm as well, because I swim very quickly and I believe I won’t affect anyone’s sleep.

Everything was fantastic! The hotel is absolutely stunning!! Beautiful rooms, beautiful pool area and the restaurant food is flawless. We decided to have breakfast in our room most mornings and the staff were always so helpful and brought it to us without any issues. The location was fantastic, about a 10 minute walk/ 5 minute bike ride to shops. Can’t fault this place!

The bathroom needs better drainage possibly? Due to the stones and lack of a good drain, there was always a damp smell which never went away. Other than that there wasn’t one thing we didn’t like!

The hotel is nice. Theres a big pool with comfortable beds next to it to lay on. You can order food on the beds or in the restaurant. The space of the restaurant was closed due to a renovation during our stay, but they placed tables and chairs in the garden which was nice.

The room felt a lot smaller than we expected. The advertisement says its 40 sqm, but I can't imagine this is right. Perhaps with the bathroom (as this is quite big), but still doesn't feel like 40. There are lots of mosquitos in the bathroom.

I would definitely stay again! Good location, it’s close enough you can walk to restaurants 5-10mins (or scooter only takes 2mins) but still felt quiet and peaceful. The pool and restaurant was great! Staff was so kind and helpful. The included breakfast was delicious. The bed was comfy and room was clean.

The only negative was the mozzies (we stayed during wet season) so we had to keep the bathroom door closed to avoid them coming into the room.

Honestly no words to describe, the crew is like family! The definition of “team” is exactly what they radiate. besides the fact that the hotel is super clean and beautiful, the crew made it an absolute home-away-from-home experience. Wish there were more staff members like you and the owner should be grateful and proud for the team he created :) Imam, Wahyu, Acil, Vollo, Lily, Nda, Dira, Lesi you were the best!! and I probably forget a few (sorry for not remembering your names) but every single one of you, THANK YOU!
