Breakfast was delicious and it was possible to get a lunch box for our trip to colca canyon. View from the rooftop where the breakfast is served is great. The location was very nice as the city center was in walking distance, the neighborhood was quite nice. The room was big, beds were comfortable. Bathroom was good with a shower and warm water. WiFi was great.

No English - which was no problem, as the staff was very helpful and friendly by using a translator app. There was no parking spot available in the garage, but we could park on the street in front of the hotel.

we stayed here after completing the colca canyon and 2 weeks in hostels so this was luxury to us! No, the hotel really was perfect for what we needed, we only stayed here for 1 night and would have stayed here longer if we was in arequipa for longer (this hotel cost the same as our dorm room the 2 nights previous!) such good value for money, amazing breakfast in the morning with eggs with avocado bread and then fruit and waffles. our best breakfast so far in peru, the room was clean, comfy and spacious. hot showers, the reception staff were so lovely and even heated up our food for us whilst we was waiting for our night bus, nothing was a problem for them and they were so kind. about a 15/20 min walk from the plaza de armes, but shops and resturants nearby. felt safe and secure here at all times.

Very clean hotel. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Location was close to the main attractions but was positioned across from a big park that made it feel more peaceful than being in the city. Great breakfast! The usual eggs, avocado etc but bonus fresh orange juice and waffles with fruit…yum! Secure off street parking provided for our small car in the front yard of the property for a small fee each day.

The property was a bit dated but this wasn’t a problem as everything was well maintained. They asked for us to prepay via another online site (not booking.com) which we refused as we were not confident with the safety of the site. They agreed to let us pay on arrival.

The hotel was clean and well maintained. The staff were very attentive and couldn’t do enough for us. We arrived really early in the morning and they did everything they could to allow us to check in as early as possible and let us store our bags for a few hours. We were able to get our laundry done too. The breakfast is by far the best we’ve had in Peru and they will make you a little bag to go if you’re leaving early for a tour. Would definitely recommend.

The staff is amazing - very kind and welcoming. Arranged breakfast boxes for the 2 days we had early tours. The breakfast in the hotel is on their last floor which is very cosy. They even served a small waffle which I wasn't expecting for a small hotel like this. Public spaces are lovely.

We booked 2 tours with them (I don't recommend the Colca Canyon - too sales pushy and the guide wasn't that great). Rooms are quite basic, old and average - they can definitely use an upgrade.

It was friendly, clean, safe and convenient, at a good price. The staff were great and really tried to make sense of my garbled Spanish. I appreciated them taking my luggage up and down to my room on the 3rd floor. Breakfast was generous and tasty. There was hot water -maybe one time I had to wait a little for a shower. And the WiFi worked well. It’s a 15 minute walk to the main square but you are much closer to the trendy San Lazaro district with nice places to eat and interesting streets.

As others have said it’s near a main road so there is traffic noise but that didn’t really bother me or stop me sleeping. There was minimal noise inside the hotel. You have to navigate that road to get more or less anywhere - there is a fairly obvious traffic light system so you can cross safely.

This property has everything you could need. The rooms are basic but they have hot water, it’s very clean and also comfortable. Just a 10 min walk to Plaza de Armas so it’s a great location. The staff were great, always cheerful and helpful. The lady at breakfast was wonderful and pointed out the main views to us from the roof. The breakfast is the best we have had in Peru! They even did a takeaway one for us when we had to check out before breakfast had started. Would definitely recommend this hotel. Great value for money.

Great location - in 1 minute you are in the center or at mondo alpaca. Great staff - everybody was extremely kind and helpful. We got all the information needed for tours, booked cooking experiences etc… Breakfast is incredible and huge. Get ready to have fresh eggs, avocados, fruits, unlimited coffee and more every morning. If your tours leave earlier than the breakfast time (like Colca Canyon), the staff will prepare a breakfast-to-go for you

The property was lovely with nice staff on reception. We were able to check in really early on arrival. The room was really nice with carpet floors, lots of storage space and big comfy beds. Cable TV with great sports selection. Really good shower. Breakfast was amazing with lovely fruit topped waffles being the highlight.

A little far from the city centre which meant a bit of a treck in the rain during wet season.

Nice old hotel, colonial style. Lovely staff. One of the best breakfasts we had in Peru: Bread, Avocado, white cheese, ham, scrambled eggs and an amazing waffle with fresh fruits and chocolate sauce. Great location for breakfast in their Skyrim. The room and hotel were super clean. Only downside was that the room smelled a bit musty, but it was fine with some air. Good to know: there is a 24pm „curfew“, as the reception is not manned after that.
