Absolutely serene location where you will encounter and appreciate God’s creation directly with beautiful horses, dogs and other farm animals, and at least 20 different species of birds. A group of about 30 wild ducks flew past at one stage! Mieke and the team in general are friendly and make you feel like a guest at their home and not a hotel. The breakfast and sauna with cold shower are also on the favorite’s list of this hidden gem! A recommendation is to walk around the area of the villa at sunset or sunrise.

This place is beautiful! I will definitely be going back. The apartment was modern and well decorated, and I had the best sleep in the bed. The breakfast was delicious, was really nice having a coffee and chatting to the staff member who was there to cook breakfast. I rented a bike and had a couple of nice trips in to Amsterdam, a cruisy 45 min cycle. The owners were lovely, always came for a chit chat and even topped up my wine one evening when I was sat in the garden. One of the most memorable stays I’ve ever had.

We found this family run b & b right on a canal to be delightful and we would stay here again. The staff was super friendly and helpful. The room was a nice size and very clean with everything we needed to be comfortable. The bed was comfortable and everything was well taken care of. The home cooked breakfast cooked by Jon was so very good.

There were no restaurants near to the b & b. You could ride into Abcoude or the next little town (around 15-20 bike ride away) and there were several to choose from.

Amazing family hotel in beautiful surroundings. Close to the highway and to Amsterdam but very quiet and peaceful. Room was bigger than expected, with a seating area and sofa, bed was very comfortable. We loved having a bath and a shower in the room. The sauna (extra charge) was a nice surprise and very pleasant to use in the morning after a late night out.

Everything…just one consideration…to place softening pads on the doors and carpets under chairs as these sounds travel quite easily ☺️ not a criticism at all…just feedback that I’m sure you’ll appreciate. Merry Xmas all and will definitely book again if in Amsterdam again 💛

Easy to reach from Amsterdam. We were going to cycle but the weather wasn't great but we were easily able to get an Uber (about €25 each way). Room was lovely - very big and all the amendments you'd need :) comfy bed, lovely bathroom and snacks and soft drinks included. We requested a room with a bathtub and this was no trouble at all :) Breakfast was fresh with good variety and the sauna was great!

We enjoyed our stay. We love our room and the location in the middle of the countryside. The staff were very friendly and always made sure we were well looked after. We loved the sauna experience; the breakfast was amazing (especially the chocolate sprinkle!). You can rent a bike from the property and wander around the countryside! It's cycling heaven!

It would be great to have a sign for the reception and the only thing that was missing at the sauna is a pool or a bathtub! Everything else is perfect!

We had a great time. The rooms were very comfortable, the hosts and personnel very nice and helpful, the breakfast was delicious. The surrounding area is quiet and close to Amsterdam. There are also good restaurant options close by, either in a walking distance, or in a few minutes by car. We totally recommend it. <3

when we arrived at the B&B, there was a nice man to say hi. there were nice notes with our names on it. to say, "hi, please feel welcome!" the breakfast was all very fresh, delicious en healthy. Great start of the day! Don't hesitate, book this, you won't be dissapointed!

It is a little bit in the nowhere, which is of course good, depending on what you look for. The quality of what you get is good, still a little bit expensive.
