Nice clean room, comfortable bed, good wifi. Many restaurants nearby. Inside the city wall, which is what we were looking for. Had a great time here during our 5 night stay!

Some reviews mention breakfast - no breakfast available and nearby restaurants open at 930am. Plan accordingly. Also you can't drive or be dropped off at the site and will need to walk about 100m on a cobbled street.

The hotel provided a car to and from the train station which was a total bonus. We were made welcome from the moment we arrived, the receptionist was so friendly and informative. There was bottled water provided in our room, which was spacious, spotless and comfortable with a great view of the castle wall and countryside beyond. There is a comfy, light area available 24 hours for guests to help themselves to coffee, tea and cookies which we made full use of to rest and relax. All the staff that we met in our hotel and the sister hotel of Pousada Castelo were efficient, friendly, informative and helpful. The hotel was newly decorated in white and soft blue and had a really good vibe to it. We visited in March to experience the annual Chocolate Festival. I have already recommended it to many friends, a perfect place within the castle walls to explore the wonderful medieval town of Obidos at any time of year, though be warned, a reasonable amount of mobility is needed as streets are cobbled and steep, as are the many steps.

Nothing, everything was lovely

It was very clean and modern with a good size room and bathroom. We loved our patio balcony. But overall a very nice location and stay.

The mattress could’ve been a little bit more comfortable. It is quite a bit of distance from the parking lot to the hotel so make sure you carry a light bag for overnight so you don’t have to carry all of your luggage to the hotel.

Price for center location within the Obidos walls was excellent, excellent view trough the window and unexpected breakfast. The only issue was non working wifi, that the staff was unable to fix but since I am working in IT, I know that this can be overwhelming for general public. I hope they managed to fix it.

The fridge in the room was a small, peltier element cooling that is completely inadequate for cooling event the fridge without anything in it. Actually they would probably save the difference in money on electricity bill if they would replace it with proper fridge.

The staff really friendly and kind. Specially Emma, in reception who received me walked inn tired and 9pm at night, she was most accommodating apologetic that she could only gave me their last and smallest room, but the next day she upgraded me to the biggest room with balcony for the same price. The rooms was nicely decorated with art work, the beds were cosy, airconditioned , cute, bright and cheerfull, and has full ammenities, with lovely natural soaps and shampoo, fluffy towels, there are free complimentary mineral water, ginja cherry liquer and chocolate. Guest can walk into the dining room and helo themselves with free hot beverages at any time of day. Breakfast was delicious. Overall its a really nice place and I would definately return.

The location was excellent, with in the city walls. Staff was friendly. The place was very clean. Would highly recommend.

There was cookies, cake and tea available in the coffee corner which was really nice, however, no coffee. It would have been nice to have coffee available.

Neat clean and super comfortable. Nice little touches like a chocolate on the pillow as well as a miniature bottle of Ginja and chocolate cups to drink it from. 24/7 espresso coffee and cookies and generous breakfast included

Advertised as free parking Be warned: this is in the parking lot 600 meters away - so may want to decant essentials out of your heavy suitcase into a backpack! And do NOT trust Google maps to get you there. We ended up being directed through arches too narrow fir the dar, and into pedestrian zones! Plug in parking options, choose the closest and walk.

Breakfast was very good. Wonderful variety of foods and very good service from staff.

Although the property responded to my question about parking before our stay, the parking lots for overnight parking were not clearly marked. When we did park in a large lot with availability, it was a 15 minute walk with our bags over cobblestone streets with only my handheld GPS to direct me.

We stayed in 4 hotels throughout Portugal and this was the best one by far! Absolutely fantastic hotel. Very comfortable, really nice rooms, very comfortable beds and fantastic helpful staff at the front desk and throughout the hotel. Would stay here again and again.

The only negative would be that the hotel is located inside the walls of the little town and your car can't come inside the wall so you need to find a spot outside and walk in. But, it's all worth it. Awesome small hotel.

Very cute pousada. Location was perfect, next to everything but still in a quiet area! The young woman at the reception was lovely and our room, although very simple, was comfortable.
