I had a memorable stay at Queensberry House in Moffat. Caroline and Miles have been most welcoming and helpful. They explained all the hiking trails to me, lent me a map and guides, and were always happy to chat. The room was spotlessly clean while the bed was super comfortable. The cooked breakfast was delicious, giving me energy for the whole day. Moffat is a pretty town, very well positioned if you are up for trails to Grey Mare's Tail Nature Reserve, White Coomb or Devil's Beeftub. It was amazing!

. Caroline and Miles ( our hosts) were most welcoming and had sent us lots of information before we arrived, they'd also booked us a table for dinner at Hugos- a local Scottish tapas bar. The breakfasts at the hotel were fabulous too. There was much to do in and around Moffat for the time we we there. The place is lovely and the local walk offer fabulous views. We made the long walk to the Moffat distillery and were rewarded with a really great visit and tour. Erin and Nick are so passionate about their craft that it adds an extra dimension to the experience. Moffat, Queensbury House and the Moffat Distillery are all well worth more than a single visit.

There was nothing to dislike. Unfortunately the weather was quite chilly(and there's nothing to be done about that) and the house felt a little cold initially. However Miles had left the heating on and the place was very warm overnight.

Breakfast was fantastic. Took the fully 'cooked option' (of course), some of the tastiest scrambled eggs Ive had for a long time. More than enough to keep us both filled for a day of walking. The room being downstairs mean that our tired legs had a easy walk to our room. The guest lounge was a nice touch which we didnt make enough use of.

Great B & B, hosts Caroline & Miles are lovely, very welcoming & helpful. Lovely breakfast menu, really enjoyed Miles speciality, Overnight Oats, which set me up for our long drive home. Room was spotless with everything you need. In a great, quite location in Moffat with easy access to the beautiful surrounding area. Highly recommended.

Enjoyed a four night stay recently at Queensberry House. Wonderful welcome from our hosts, with lots of helpful local info provided. Breakfasts were excellent, all freshly prepared with a great range of options covering all types of diet. Good en-suite facilities with excellent shower. Easy on street parking immediately outside the property. Enjoyed having fresh milk provided (rather than UHT) each day for the tea making. Moffat has a good range of eateries and local shops, which are all within a few minutes walk.

Not much! Only space for a single comfy chair in the room, but there was a lovely guest lounge available.

Queensberry was a great place to stay, both with the experience of warm hospitality from the hosts and the many things to see in the area. We found the room very comfortable, everything laid out perfectly and with a bright bathroom. Excellent breakfast with top notch cooking. With advice form the hosts, we enjoyed sights in Moffat, including the distillery, gardens, good restaurants, and did some beautiful hikes that are close by in the hills.

Queensberry House is a lovely, quiet B&B on a peaceful street less than 5 mins walk from Moffat centre. My bed was superbly comfortable, the shower was hot, and my breakfasts delicious. Caroline and Miles are welcoming, helpful and informative hosts. Everything was super clean and well presented. I very much enjoyed my stay. Our room was spotless and our hosts were very friendly and knowledgeable about the area. Good breakfast selection with excellent poached eggs. Will definitely recommend a stay at the Queensberry.

Excellent is not enough to describe our visit, it totally exceeded our expectations, the cleanliness of the rooms, the excellent meals provided, they went above and beyond to meet our dietary requirements, Their friendliness and attention to detail was overwhelming, i cannot recommend this B&B enough, it is outstanding

Mike's and Caroline were very welcoming , couldn't do enough for us. The quest house was very quiet and a we had a relaxing break. The breakfast choice was really good and the quality of the food was superb. The quest house is also situated in walking distance from the main part of the village. Moffat itself is a lovely place lots of walks in the area and on your doorstep
