Friendly and helpful staff. The rooms were clean and comfortable, and came complete with all the amenities you need for utility and convenience. (fridge/microwave/iron with ironing board/chest of drawers/safe/hairdryer etc.) I also liked the location; it's situated on an easily accessible road in a very relaxed area and nearby options for food, groceries etc. That said, I'd recommend renting a vehicle if you plan on traveling any further as taxi fares can quickly add up. Fortunately, we were able to rent a vehicle for the week at a fairly affordable rate using the Uber app from a Shell service station nearby.

Keep in mind the rooms aren't soundproof. :)

Great location. Quiet. Room had a fridge and microwave. Nicely decorated. Clean.

The sheets on the bed were awful. Clean, but no fitted sheet. They had a top sheet wrapped over the mattress, and it was too small. Kept coming off. Made for a sleepless night. The remote to the TV wasn't working properly. I loved the built in soap/shampoo/conditioner dispensers in the bathroom, but I couldn't get any conditioner out of them. No way to open them to get any out.

Good location- relatively easy to drive into NYC and Hudson River area attractions, and easy to get on a highway to leave. Clean and comfortable. Like the convenience of the motel style ability to easily unload and reload the car. The adjoining walking trail is a plus, as is the short driving distance to Whole Foods, Stew Leonards, and a number of restaurants.

It appears to be partially a residential community now. Ic machine was broken, and the in room fridge didnnot have a freezer section to make ice

Quiet and clean. An employee at the receptionist was very pleasant when I was checking out her name was America. However, from my 1st phone call, when trying to book the room and from checking online, the prices were very drastically different. The woman who spoke to me was very deceiving with the price. Without telling her, I looked online first she explained oh ok you want the room from Sunday to Tuesday."" That's great." The prices are better . She says I can give you a deal. You save 100.00, and your total would be 418.00 or $438.00, she says!. I was in total shock! Can't remember exactly what the exact figure was, but she was telling me in the $400.00 something bracket. That was a complete drastic jump. I said really why so much I checked online, and the price was way less." She then says tax. I said tax really that high. So the only experience to me that was unpleasant was that phone call that woman was deceiving and i quite do not trust her. The checking out experience with America is a wonderful, pleasant, and genuine lady. That is who represents that place wonderful .

Well, I kinda explained what I didn't like the experience on the phone when I tried to book my room on July 30th for my stay from Sun Aug 11th till Tue, August 13th. Instead, I booked it online. When I checked out, the lady named America was very warm and pleasant. That is exactly the person I always would want to talk to when I come down. I make several trips during the year. She has great customer service skills! 👍

The room was good size, clean, with a fridge and microwave. We were going into NYC for a wedding and did not want to bring in our car. The price for the room was far less than anything else around. Nothing fancy but except for the overly fragrant smell an excellent option.

The motel uses a very smelly cleaning product. It is overly fragrant and cloying. We opened the windows to air out the room which helped a lot.

Great staff, great location, easy to park, comfortable bed and breakfast to start you off on your day. Great cleaning staff during our weeklong stay and quiet rooms. Super close to Yonkers (-10 mins) and a fairly short drive to Manhattan. Nice quiet location in a lovely village. One of my favorite places to stay in NY.

Room had some cobwebs beside painting and an undergarment left behind in drawer by a previous guest.

It's a very old motel, but very well maintained and recently renovated. We got a large "Penthouse" room which was amazing! It was not far from Sleepy Hollow and not far from Carvel Ice Cream (my husband's childhood fav). Great value!

Although it did not impact my stay, but first impressions are meaningful. A good coat of white paint in the reception room would go a LONG way.

The room was very clean and the bed was very comfortable. I was staying in town for a wedding, so not having a closet wasn't super convenient. But we felt safe at this location, and there was plenty of other amenities in the room.

There was nothing to complain about!

I love that Ardsley Acres offers breakfast! I do wish they hadn't gotten rid of the juice options, but other than that everything was lovely!

Other than the limited breakfast options there was just a low amount of towels and toilet paper in the room, but it's easily solved by simply asking main office or a lovely housekeeper
