Great location, spotless, quiet, a great night‘s sleep

Didn’t try the breakfast as there were so many cheap options available at the station and 17€ seemed very pricey. It's worth noting that the bathroom isn't overly private. There is a frosted glass screen between the bathroom (the shower, to be specific) and the rest of the room. It's not see-through but I have been uncomfortable with this had I not been travelling with my husband. Also, the bathroom has a sliding door with quite a large gap which isn't ideal in terms of privacy.

Breakfast was great, tasty and many choices, with great coffee. Served from 06:00 AM which is great for business travelers. Room and overall hotel very clean. Location is in the very center in a pedestrian area with many attractions within walking distance and main railway station literally a few steps away.

The staff is a bit slow, we had to make some requests a few times (it seems they do not communicate between shifts). Windows do not open in rooms.

I only stayed here one night between two trains. I had a nice room with everything I needed, and would have needed even if I had stayed longer. The location is excellent, right across the street from the railway station.

You have to take your luggage up some stairs to get to the hotel, but that is how Dortmund is.

Location was excellent for accessing dortmund centre as well as the train network. Rooms were very clean and the hotel interiors appeared as if they had recently been renovated. Front desk staff were helpful and friendly

As it was close to the main train staton there were always random people in the square in front of the hotel especially late in the evening. Was unable to adjust the thermostat in the room so became quite hot

Fantastic location, across the road from the Central Train Station, also central to city centre & Old Town. Hotel very clean, spacious comfortable rooms, free wi fi, staff very friendly & helpful. Would return on next visit to Dortmund, and would recommend.

Only one item, which the Hotel have no control over, many people sleeping rough outside and around vicinity of Hotel, expect to be approached when you exit the Hotel !

good location for a traveling person, near the main station. room was spacious and comfortable.

although the payment for the night was accounted for a couple a weeks prior to the stay, the hotel still reserved money from my card for some reason (and a bit more than the stay was worth). i paid an extra of 17euros for breakfast, it was not really worth it( the cheese and meats were dried around the corner indicating they were not freshly cut, poor selection of vegetables). there was only one small towel in the room, when you would usually be accustomed to two towels : one face and one body towel.

Being pretty much next to the main train station, this hotel is brilliantly located for both the city centre amenities and easy access to the U-Bahn network for travel to the exhibition centre. Rooms were generally quiet and well-appointed. There was a good selection at breakfast.

Only a single pillow was provided in the room. I never got around to asking for a second at reception, but a spare in the room would have been a thoughtful touch. Both times we used the bar facility it seemed like it was an inconvenience.

Everyone is kind and helpful. Room is clean, large and comfortable. Location is also perfect. Prices are good too. The breakfast lounge was cosy and everyone seemed happy. We missed breakfast hours and there are plenty of options for breakfast near the hotel. We were pleased during our stay. It was like a happy spot.

Excellently sized, quiet room with very large and comfortable bed, great bathroom facilities and good supply of power points and USB sockets. The hotel is located about 200m from the main train station, so it isn't far to carry heavy luggage on arrival, and being about 200m from the city centre access to shops and restaurants is also easy. I believe that all rooms have opening windows (width restricted). My room had a very good refrigerator and good sized kettle and I believe this is typical for all rooms. The television was very large and controllable and offers news channels in English and French in addition to a wide range of german channels of all types (news, sport and entertainment). However the Italian channels listed on the tv did not work. Security for the hotel is very good, with access to the floors of the hotel where the rooms are located being restricted to those holding a room passcard. The "high speed" WiFi was good for normal internet activities, but probably would be a bit slow for streaming activities.

The coffee supplied in the room is in the form two coffee bags with more available from reception, but there was no supply of decaffeinated coffee (I cannot have caffeine). Although I was able to get decaffeinated coffee bags from the bar next to reception, if the bar is busy (which it was for me on multiple occasions) this can mean a noticeable delay. Not really a complaint, but one oddity is that the room has a king-sized bed, but only a double-sized duvet. However I believe (from watching adverts on German tv) that this is common in Germany.

The place was really clean. We arrived quite late, but the staff was very friendly and helpful! It’s located near the train station and right in the city center, which is amazing!
