First greeting by two young women at reception started us on a high, so welcoming and warm. One demonstrated how to use the bus system, which is very handy for getting to town. These two really set a positive tone for our entire stay. Just five minutes from Beach Erromardie, a lively site. Nice place to watch surfers, paragliders, food truck and fruit/vegetable stand across the road. Quiet, parkland setting. Bistros on beach.

Minor point: the laundry is quite far back on property. I could have used a chair to sit and read while waiting. I appreciated an easy to use laundry on site.

Pool was nice and big. Room was good with comfortable beds. Free coffee facilities in the room and free water from the water purifier at the reception. It was close to a nice quiet beach.

The balcony we had was terrible. It was at the ground floor, right at the street. It was noisy in the morning with cleaning personnel strolling with carts and people talking loud. All the balconies on that side were also encaged with some added straw barriers, so that people cannot see in the balcony, which also made it that you cannot see outside from the balcony - weird setup, felt like a dungeon. Another weird thing was a pipe that was dripping water from the above balconies in our balcony. I was in my bare feet on the balcony and then suddenly some water starts running through the pipe on my feet. Another thing - you cannot get towels for the pool. It was a bit far from the center of St Jean de Luz.

The staff was very nice and the terrace was spacious with lovely views. There was underground parking and easy access to play equipment for our little one. The location was close to nice walks and the beach as well as a few restaurants. Excellent value and would certainly visit again.

There wasn't much access within walking distance to convenience shops or groceries. Perhaps there are more options in high season! Camping site next door was loud, but they usually quiet down around 10-11pm.

Nice size room and balcony, convenient car park. Location is excellent, only a short walk from the lovely beach and a short drive to town centre. Staff were very helpful, small issue with the safe box was sorted very quickly. Swimming pool was great, clean and warm with nice surroundings.

Breakfast was expensive so we bought our own croissants etc. The duvet supplied was very warm at night, a light blanket would have been better.

We booked this hotel because the pictures of the balcony with the beautiful views and that is why we paid a premium price…however the room we were given had a view of the drive and a wall and was not private at all…so was a little disappointed. The pictures of the selected room on the website booking should be reflective to what you will be getting.

Clean spacious room with good facilities. Lovely pool area. Well located near a beach with a lovely laid back vibe in the evenings. A lovely place to watch the sunset with a beer and food. The bus service to town was also excellent.

The breakfast was expensive at 20 euros so we didn’t use it. The restaurant had nothing for vegetarians sadly so also didn’t use.

Door between the entry/foyer and the bedroom. There was a coffee machine in the foyer, so I could sit there with the door closed and have coffee and breakfast while my wife slept.

The double bed was two singles on a double frame. That's never as good as a true double. One side of the bed had a dip in it that made it a little uncomfortable.

We asked for soap,we had no soap in the bathroom from the beginning,a lady told us to wait for the cleaning service,but the cleaning service never showed up in the room,during all our stay. Perhaps it’s an idea to work up with the cleaning service and with the reception,to be more polite next time.

We didn’t use most of the facilities as we only stayed one night, but we would definitely visit again. The room was spacious with a lovely balcony and the location is fantastic, an easy walk to the beach area with great beach bars. The woman on reception was very friendly and helpful, and the free onsite parking is a big bonus too.

The outside and some common areas looks a bit utilitarian but that made the room all the more of a pleasant surprise when we got to it.

The rooms were comfortable and the bed was to our liking. We booked in for evening meal and breakfast and enjoyed both. The service and staff were first class. The choice for breakfast was good whilst the choice for evening meal was limited. However they were both very enjoyable.
