Great location. Very walkable to everything you need to see in Bayeux: Tapestry museum, cathedral, meeting point for D-Day tour, nice restaurants, and town center. The hotel isn't very modern; it's more of a locally styled place with a homey feel. The room isn’t very spacious, but comfy for two person with two medium size luggage for two nights. The room is clean. The breakfast is nice. The lady at the reception give us a map and explain us how to get to the attractions, and recommend us restaurants which is very nice. She also offer to help us carry our luggage up the stairs as well which is very kind. The hotel has no elevator. There is a parking space at the hotel but it is quite limited. Better contact the hotel to book the space early. There is also a free parking lot opposite the hotel and along the street nearby, also paid parking space not far away.

We couldn’t roll the little window shade all the way down, but it was not a big problem so we didn’t bother asking the hotel staff to fix it. Should be a quick and easy fix.

I really appreciate the service they provided, versus "forcing" me to pay up for the new accomodations. Belle Normandy was charming and comfortable, with a professional and helpful staff. The only downside was that it was a little bit further from the train station.

It's lovely and quaint. The staff was very nice and took our suitcases up the stairs to our room. It was situated in a great spot. Walking distance to everything we were interested in. Lots of restaurants. We arrived on a day when most stores were closed. Let's be real. No wine to be bought, lol. The hotel has a cooler with water, beer, and wine. They also have ice, which was the only hotel in all the countries we visited who had ice.

I guess the only negative were the items in the cooler were expensive. But that's to be expected, l suppose because everything was closed.

Upon arriving, we found the Hotel under construction and we were accommodated at their sister property the Belle Normandy. The same ownership has both hotels. We were treated like royalty. The rooms were large and brand new. The breakfast was excellent and the staff helped us a lot. We do not speak French and they helped a ton. we went to restaurants they recommended and had wonderful dinners. They helped us set up a tour of the Battle Fields and made sure we were comfortable at all times. No question we would go back to this same property.

Would have liked to have known in advance that parking on site was extra.

I travelled with a group of friends for an event in Bayeux. I had booked two rooms for three of us but accidentally only booked one for a single night instead of two. The staff could not have been more accommodating and helpful. Though fully booked themselves they went above and beyond to find me a room at their sister hotel with so little hassle it was amazing. My friends who stayed at the hotel itself could not have been happier with the room and service. They turned a very stressful moment into a wonderful stay.

Really friendly and helpful staff, very relaxed atmosphere, good sized rooms which were very comfortable. Air con in each room. excellent location about 5 minute walk from the Cathedral. Free parking on the street outside.

The hotel is old and could do with some painting and new carpets. Toilet wouldn't flush properly and breakfast was a bit chaotic as it's laid out in a very small area with everyone reaching over each other to access the food (maybe it was just particularly busy when we stayed). However these are minor things and wouldn't put us off staying again. It was full of charm and character.

Staff was incredibly nice. English was not a problem. Let us store our luggage for hours while we went sightseeing. Helpful with finding local tours, schedules, etc. service was at a premium to the entire staff.

It was unseasonably warm when we were there (90s) and the AC was not what we are used to, but it was comfortable enough for sleeping.

The location was excellent, great proximity to a very walkable city. Staff were very considerate and went out of their way to meet our needs and provide exceptional service.

We found the breakfast somewhat lacking. The items that should have been warm/hot, were cold, almost as if they had just been removed from the refrigerator. The pastry choices were thoughtful and delicious, we would have liked more fresh fruit options.

The location is perfect in this small historic town. We walked everywhere except when going and coming from the train station. Most of the rooms were on the first floor in a beautiful old building that has been renovated into a hotel.

Just be aware this building is not airconditioned. Everyone leaves the windows open at nigh t and it cools off but if it is VERY hot, it will be a problem. Breakfast is NOT included in the price but we had a great meal down the street. We didn't wnat to commit to 14 euros each for their breakfast without knowing what would be offered.

Staff was so very nice! Particularly Marius. Breakfast was fabulous! Room was very clean! This hotel is an easy and quick walk from the train station, and to meet up area for guided tours and restaurants. We stayed two nights and wished we could have stayed longer.

There was nothing we did not like about the hotel! It exceeded our expectations. We hope to return to France and will stay here again!
