Big and clean rooms with terrace offering an exceptional view. Also pleasant and polite employees, especially the lady in the reception. I highly recommend the hotel, was definitely value for money.

I would appreciate a slightly bigger variety in breakfast - especially in fresh fruit and vegetables. I realized when it was too late that in the reception there was a basket of fruits, but not in the area of the breakfast food, therefore it was not at all straightforward. Otherwise very nice breakfast.

- The staff was amazing, very helpful and smiling. - We loved the location, high above the city with breathtaking views and some attractions nearby. - We stayed for one night during a very hot day but at night the room became cooler with fresh air from the terrace and a fan was enough. We slept very well. - The shower is tiny but with very good water pressure. - Decent room size. Even a small kitchen but we didn’t use it. - Breakfast was ok.

- No bidet. - We couldn’t open the door leading to the terrace.

The staff is very friendly and extremely helpful, and always smiling. The room is functional and very clean. The espresso machine and water kettle are a very nice thing to have in the room! Thanks. The parking place was reserved and the items for the dog were in the room. Excellent service!!!!

Either the walls are thin or the neighbors excessively loud. 😉

It was very hot and the fan in our room was completely inadequate. The fridge wasn't working properly. There was a kitchenette but next no kitchen supplies.

The view from the room was stunning, the staff was very kind, and the breakfast croissants were memorably delicious! We would happily return to La Barca Blu when we return to Locarno.

It would have been nice if the kitchen had some silverware and plates.

The staff were very helpful, especially with the bus system. The walk down from the hotel to the lake was entertaining in and of itself. The room was comfortable and breakfast was good.

Don't try walking up the hill from the train station - either find a taxi, figure out the bus schedule, or use the funicular.

I paid 18chf per night to park my motorcycle, the alloted space was a gravel surface, the only way to ensure my bike didn't rock over was to move it sideways, on the first night some swiss person had parked his car in front of my bike, not impressed

The Hotel was better than we expected. I need to note, the hotel is not in the center, (We prefer a quite area) but it is easy accessible with car, bus or trolley. The room was clean and had a small kitchen with the basic equipment. Breakfast was also good, we ate on the breakfast room Balcony, which also had a nice view.

From the 3rd floor of the hotel, I had an amazing panoramic view of the lake and of the surrounding mountains. The area is very quiet and peaceful. The staff was very nice and helpful. And they have good wifi too.

The area being a mixture of hotels and private residences, has close to nothing else. There's no supermarket anywhere near and the few bars and restaurants all close a 9pm. This is the downside of the peaceful neighborhood.

Stunning location. Loved getting the funicular. Beautiful views from balcony. Breakfast OK but not brilliant if don't have a sweet tooth. Bed was super comfy.

Nothing in the kitchen. Not even a spoon!
