The moment we arrived at the hotel, the staff helped us to unload our luggages from car and even bring it up to our hotel room. There were always staff at the entrance to open the car door for us if we ride on car. The breakfast buffet spread is awsome! We love it! The hotel room is old style furnishing, but the furniture not old. The room was very clean and spacious. Overall our stay experience was excellent! Highly recommended!

Check out personnel (Melinda) at the front desk left a distasteful end to my trip. Came off to me as very rude - when I was querying about charges (which i felt was a very reasonable thing to do), could hear her let off a huge sigh as if she is irritated. Left a very bad impression on me and ended my stay on a very bad note. Disappointed.

However, the spa, swimming pool, and sauna were disappointing. They were small, unclean, and looked nothing like the pictures. It was quite disappointing. On the bright side, the location was good. he air conditioning in all rooms didn't work properly, resulting in the room being too hot.

You walk into a hotel from the 1970s which actually has some charme since it is immaculate clean and the staff is very friendly. I was able to check in earlier complimentary and was upgraded. The room is very clean and has all amenities of a 5 star hotel. The bed was incredible comfortable

Certain things have to be upgraded like the telephone system, the curtains are awful & the pool and restaurants is not very inviting.

As an IHG member I was surprised that at check you have to provide a security amount for almost twice the booking value! Staff had difficulties understanding me. Difficult communication if you are not fluent in Chinese. Surprised when at arrival you see thatp the façades of the Hotel are under renovation and I was not informed when I did the booking.

Wonderful friendly staff. Wonderful well decorated room Perfect room climate control, often it is either a cold blizzard from the airconditioning or heat but here it just maintained a very comfortable atmosphere without a fuss even though it was very warm and humid outside. The hotel is amazing, so it is hard to come up with negative points but maybe just a detail, there was only warm water for drinking in the gym. There is a fridge but this was empty.

We like the price-quality ratio: it’s such good value. We didn’t have river view, but we are not far, and we only sleep there anyway. If we stay in a hotel with riverview, we would not book the expensive room, so we would also not have the riverview in our room. The breakfast is very good? with very nice fresh juices of melon.

Maybe the location, but on the other hand it’s also central in Pudong

I liked that the staff was outside waiting for us when we got there and helping us with our bags I loved that there was a suit tailoring company downstairs. The food at breakfast was amazing. Lots of options and fresh honey. The pool table was quite nice downstairs while you could get beers and snacks.

There wasn’t anything I didn’t like about the property. I thought that the room was nice. The property was nice.
