Clean room, comfy bed, complimentary fruit basket + water & coffee each morning, bar onsite, and extremely hospitable staff that helped with organizing transportation to attractions and our next destination.

The only negative feedback was I asked for the room to be cleaned one day and they removed all of my clothes from my luggage and refolded everything. It felt like a breech of privacy because they went thru all of my things without asking - I had money, travel documents and other personal items that they had no business going thru. I understand trying to be extra hospitable to meet the "5 star" rating, but it was more than I would ever want a cleaning staff to do at any hotel.

Dar Saba is located in a prime spot in the Tangier medina, away from the souqs. It’s a refined riad, with very kind and professional service. A charming bar is the highlight of the reception room, which also features cozy nooks with armchairs. The room decor pays homage to famous foreigners who loved Tangier. It may not appeal to more sophisticated tastes, but it is well executed for what it intends to be. We stayed in the Gaudí room—very small, but well equipped, comfortable, and functional. The shower is wonderful. The Moroccan-style breakfast is excellent and served on a terrace with a spectacular view of the city marina and the Strait of Gibraltar. In the distance, you can see Spain.

The room was very small. It was difficult to find the riad inside the medina for the first time. They should offer a meeting point outside the walls to guide new guests.

We personally made sure we were very comfortable and they were helpful with everything we asked for and more.

When I left the riad I felt like I left my home and Family 🥺❤️ Jawad, Zakariyah, Abdullah, Mehdi and Asma were the best staff ever ❤️ My stay at the riad was absolutely magical! From the moment I arrived, I was greeted with warm hospitality and impeccable service. The design of the property is breathtaking, seamlessly blending modern elegance with authentic local charm. The rooms were luxurious and thoughtfully curated, The breakfast was amazing with an amazing view on the rooftop ❤️ The location was super good at the middle of kesba. I am beyond impressed not only with the beauty of the riad but also with the exceptional character of its owner, Mrs. Roya, her kindness, humility, and genuine care for guests truly set her apart. She's so approachable and committed to ensuring every guest feels valued and at home. Her effort to create a harmonious environment show her deep sense of integrity and thoughtfulness. It’s clear that this isn’t just a business for her, it’s a labor of love. This riad is not just a place to stay; it’s an experience to cherish. Staff was super, prepare me a mint tea with almond pastries while checking in, got my suitcase to my room, recommended and made reservations for us for a traditional Moroccan restaurant with live music, room was perfect and in the morning serve us a light breakfast just like we wanted .

The only thing I didn't realize when I did the reservation is that this is not a standard hotel, is a House made into a room rental property, also the location, you can't drive here is in the middle of the market area with small streets and alleys everywhere unless you are from here you will get lost 1 minute from it.

Can't wait to return to Saba's House! The staff treated us like royalty and family at the same time. it's in a perfect location in the middle of the medina yet the hotel (especially the rooftop) was as peaceful as could be. we were given perfect recommendations for dinners, shopping and hammam, which ended up being the highlights of our trip. We can't wait for our next visit to Tangier, and there is no better place to feel welcome that at Saba's house. A full TEN experience! Thank you!

I had an excellent stay at this beautiful Riad in Tangier. The decor is stunning—every detail is thoughtfully curated, blending traditional Moroccan charm with stylish touches. The service was outstanding; the staff were warm, welcoming, and always ready to help. The rooms are not only stylish but also very comfortable, creating a perfect space to relax after exploring. The location couldn’t be better—right in the heart of the Medina, making it easy to discover the city’s charm on foot. I highly recommend this place and would definitely stay here again!

I can’t say enough good things about this Riad - the location, rooftop view, decor, cleanliness, attention to detail and above all, the staff. I had a fabulous stay and didn’t want to leave. From the moment you are greeted with a cup of traditional mint tea in the beautifully decorated lobby with its well stocked bar, you feel right at home. Highly recommend!

If I had to say something I’d say the room was a bit small. But very comfortable.

The staff were extremely attentive and helpful. The view from the terrace of the Mediterranean was remarkable - both during the day and at breakfast. We were especially impressed by Joauad - he greeted us with tea, recommended a restaurant for dinner, arranged an early breakfast, and carried our bags to our driver. It was nice to have a place to sit with a drink at the end of a day — it felt cozy in the “library” area with music and fire in the fireplace.

It is a bit difficult to get to with luggage due to the ups and downs (and stairs) of Tangier — but the view is worth it.
